Hi Holotable Heroes!

Today’s Hotfix addresses an issue with the placeholder Mod Slicing reward in Galactic Challenge Rewards.

Please note, the current Galactic Challenge will continue to include the placeholder unit, as this fix will apply to the upcoming GCs. Also, as stated in a previous post , we will make sure the players receive the rewards they were supposed to obtain in a future update.

Hi Holotable Heroes,

We are aware of an issue with Galactic Challenge Tier 8+ reward crates containing a mod slicing mat not intended for in-game use. This unit is used by design as a placeholder and is not something we plan on releasing as an item for players to earn (now or in the future). It unintentionally made its way into the game.

We will make sure the players receive the rewards they were supposed to obtain in a future update.

Hi Holotable Heroes,

Today’s update brings Fennec Shand, the notorious Bounty Hunter and assassin, to the holotables! You can add Fennec to your roster via the all new Marquee Event, “Tales From The Outer Rim VII.”

We’ve also got some news regarding Commander Ahsoka Tano and Malevolence shards, the usual slate of fixes, and some information on new packs. Keep reading for more information and details!
NEWS
Commander Ahsoka Tano Additive Drops

For a limited time, Commander Ahsoka Tano shards will be added to all Light Side Hard nodes as bonus drops. During this event, this character's drop rate on each node has been scaled to Energy.

Light Side Battle Hard nodes will be rewarding bonus drops on 10/23.

Staying on the theme of additive drops, the players have voted and results are in! For a limited time the Malevolence - winner of the Galactic Chase forum poll - will be added to all Light Side Battle nodes as bonus drops. During this event, this ship's drop rate on each node will be scaled to Energy.
Light Side Battles are rewarding bonus drops from 10/8 through 10/14.

The “Core Gear” reward from Territory War is being updated to include the more highly-requested Mk 8 Biotech Implant Component Salvage. This will replace the Mk 9 Biotech Implant Component Salvage currently featured in the rewards.

The Conquest Sector 5 feat "Marked for Death" has been removed. In its place is the new feat, "One by One."

CHARACTERS AND SHIPS

UNIT - Fixed issue which prevented Lord Vader from recovering Health from Emperor Palpatine's leader ability, “Emperor of the Galactic Empire,” when Lord Vader applied Damage Over Time effects at the start of his turn.
UNIT - Fixed issue with Jedi Master Luke Skywalker's “Jedi Lessons” and “Jedi Legacy” abilities in which Mastery increase was not being displayed correctly.
EVENT - Fixed issue with enemy Shaak Ti being unintentionally stronger in Geonosis Separatist Might Territory Battle after a previous update. She was reverted back to the original state she was in before the previous update. Please note: as an enemy in Territory Battle, she is still considered a "Tank," which remains unchanged from the original launch of the Geonosis Territory Battle.
EVENT - Updated Conquest data disk "Ruthless Offense" description to match functionality.
EVENT - Fixed issue with Conquest data disks "Opportunistic Support" and "Defensive Formation" to correctly restore health and protection.

UNIT NAME: Fennec Shand
ALIGNMENT: Dark Side
CATEGORIES: Dark Side, Attacker, Bounty Hunter, Scoundrel
Lethal Bounty Hunter capable of taking on the most dangerous foes.

ABILITIES:

Basic: CRUSHING STRIKE

FINAL TEXT: Deal Special damage to target enemy 5 times. If the target has no Protection, this ability deals 50% more damage. If it's Fennec Shand's turn and she has Seasoned Veteran , Fennec gains Offense Up for 1 turn.

Seasoned Veteran: Fennec can ignore Taunt and gains additional effects on her abilities

Special 1: I DON'T MISS (Cooldown 2)

FINAL TEXT: Deal Special damage to all but the weakest enemy. Then, deal Special damage to the enemy that was the weakest at the start of this attack, this damage is increased by 50% for each other enemy damaged during this ability.

If this ability deals damage, the selected target is inflicted with Armor Shred and all Dark Side Scoundrel allies gain Overconfident for 2 turns if they do not have it, which can't be copied or resisted. If all Dark Side Scoundrel allies already have Overconfident, instead all Scoundrel allies gain Overconfident for 2 turns, which can't be copied or resisted, instead.

If Fennec has Seasoned Veteran, this attack can't be Evaded and inflicts an additional stack of Armor Shred.

Overconfident: -20% Defense, +50% Offense, +10% Speed, +15% Evasion

Leader: LONE FOX

FINAL TEXT: At the start of battle, Fennec Shand gains +100% Max Health, Max Protection, Defense, and Offense. These numbers are reduced by 25% for each other ally present at the start of battle.

When Fennec Shand is in the Leader slot, and not the Ally slot, the following Contract is active:

Contract: 20 debuffs are dispelled or expire from Bounty Hunter or Scoundrel allies. (Only Bounty Hunter or Scoundrel allies can contribute to the Contract.)

Reward: All Bounty Hunter allies have their payouts activated, and all Bounty Hunter or Scoundrel allies gain 20% Defense and Overconfident until the end of battle, which can't be copied, dispelled, or prevented.

Unique: MAKING AN IMPRESSION
FINAL TEXT: (ZETA) Fennec gains +10% Offense (stacking) until the end of encounter whenever she gains Tenacity Up. This bonus is doubled if The Mandalorian (Beskar Armor) is a living ally. When an ally loses Overconfident, Fennec gains 20% Turn Meter.

Unique: FENNEC SHAND'S PAYOUT
Whenever Fennec Shand receives a Reward from a Contract, she also gains the following Payout. (Contracts are granted by certain Bounty Hunter Leader Abilities.)

Payout: Fennec receives +15% Critical Chance, +25% Critical Damage and Seasoned Veteran until the end of the battle, which can't be copied, dispelled, or prevented.

Fennec Shand, the notorious bounty hunter and assassin, has taken jobs across the galaxy and worked for the most vile criminal syndicates. She now makes her way to the Holotables!

Below is some more information, strategy tips and insights on Fennec Shand - straight from the devs that helped bring her to the game.

Even though she has a Leader ability, Fennec is primarily meant to work alone or as a sidekick - a very helpful one - to Mandalorian (Beskar Armor) and other Bounty Hunter and/or Scoundrel units.
Fennec is an excellent facilitator for Bounty Hunter contracts, Mando’s “Whistling Birds” and other such abilities that she helps make more useful by dealing multiple instances of damage and speeding up their progress.

Fennec is a rare unit, in which her Leader ability is actually better with fewer units in her squad.
If Fennec has “Seasoned Veteran” (earned via her Payout), her Basic and Special abilities gain additional effects.
Another interesting twist to Fennec’s kit is that her new debuff “Overconfident” applies to allies and actually works more as a buff, given it helps her squad in battle.
Bounty Hunters typically help each other fulfill contracts, but with Fennec, Scoundrel allies such as The Mandalorian (Beskar Armor) also help her fulfill her contract.

This version of the character encompasses her time both on Bad Batch and on The Mandalorian. This is why she starts off with “Overconfident” (her brash, youthful self) and ends up with Seasoned Veteran (the Fennec Shand we saw in The Mandalorian)
Her Basic is inspired by the hand-to-hand combat she gets into during the Bad Batch (against Wrecker and Cad Bane in particular).
“I Don’t Miss” is taken from her Mandalorian appearances, where she is a master markswoman with her sniper rifle.
Her Leader Ability “Lone Fox” is a nod to the “lone wolf” archetype. In her appearances she’s generally been a one-woman show, and this Leader ability is actually more powerful the fewer allies you bring with her in battle.

Fennec’s allies lose “Overconfident” when The Mandalorian (Beskar Armor) cleanses debuffs, which can lead to Fennec gaining significant amounts of Turn Meter.
She has a leader ability, but. Fennec works better as part of a team, not necessarily the leader. However, her leader can be helpful in situations in which a less-than-full squad is desirable.

Why didn’t “Overconfident” apply to all Scoundrel allies when I used “I Don’t Miss”?
