The Pocket Racing Circuit is considered one of the hardest mini-games from Yakuza Kiwami. It is all about RC racing and the competitors have to build and to modify small cars and to hit each other on an race track.

All the perfect builds that should usually work, depending on boost usage and cornering. 95% of these parts will be found at either Don Quijote, the instore vendor, the dream machine vending machines, from completing other backstories and from bob at the shrine.

Some of the listed builds may or may not work depending on your playstyle. I'd recommend checking the comments for some other builds and tips from others.

In some races you have to start race in the specific line if you face difficulties in corners/jumps. So try to restart if you cannot win the race at the first try.

How to complete the Fighter’s Succesory substory?

If you complete the substory, you can receive the Godspeed Monitor Mark II and you should trie to do this before to start the tournament. After you get the Golem Tiger, go on Theater Avenue, at Club Saga to start the substory. Here you will meet Hideki, and he will chalenge you to race in the Pocket Circuit Stadium. Go there and do your best to defeat him in the race. Afer this go to Stadust and you will see the prompt coming up. After all the cutscenes, go back at Pocket Circuit Stadium and win another race. In the end you will compete with the Pocket Circuit Fighter.

The best race strategy

There are a lot of factors that influence the finale of the race. You can lose a race because the car flew off the circuit. In this case you have nothing to do. It is very important to practice all the tracks just to learn the circuit before to start the race. You can think that is enough to press the boost button and to be in front of the other cars, but this is a very risky strategy just because you can fly off the circuit very fast. You should use boost rationally and wait for the proper moment to use it.

Every part has a price limit, and so it happens with the tracks. The beginner cup’s price is 25 and the Pro-am Race has a price of 35. You will not win a car or a part in every race so you need to do tests in order to find out what it’s working the best for you.

In this circuit you can attend 14 circuits and you need to win them to complete the minigame. We will show you all the details about each circuit. You need to know the distance that you will travel, the price for each circuit, the laps number, and the cars or parts recommended for each of them.

What you will read below worked for me, but you can find other optimal solutions to win this minigame. You can use the same build for many times, and you can get different results even if you play the same all the time. You should be patient and rememeber that, if a competitor is in front of you at the start, if you play good you can lap him. Again, remember that you can fly off the road aparently without reason.

The Introductory Race is 88.1 m length and has a price limit of 20. It has 8 laps and the recommended parts are Speed Frame, Regular Gears, Cool Striker, Soft Tires and Speed Motor.
For the Little Racer Cup you have a circuit with 147.2 m length, a price of 20 and 8 laps. You will need Cool Striker, Speed Monitor, Reagular Battery, Soft Tires and Regular Gears, and Speed Frame.

The Rookie Race is 1961.m length. The price is 20 and it has 8 laps. The recommended parts are Cool Striker, Speed Motor Plus, High Speed Battery, Speed Frame Plus, Slim Tires Plus.
The Beginner Cup has a total distance of 196.1 m and a cost limit of 25. You will play 12 laps and you need Cool Strijer, Speed Frame Plus, Spiked Tires, Balanced Geard Plus, Speed Monitor Plus and High Capacity Battery.

The Amateur Cup is 179.4 m length and has a cost limit of 24. You will play 8 laps and if you want to win you need Cool Striker, Extra Metal Frame, Extra Spiked Tires, Extra Balanced Gears, Extra Speed Monitor and High Speed Battery.

For the Standard Cup you will play a race with 194.3m in 8 laps, with a cost limit of 30. You need to have Cool Striker, Extra Metal Frame, Extra Balanced Gears, Extra Speed Monitor and Medium Suspension.

Intermediate Cup is 220.7 m length in 8 laps and has a price limit of 30. You must have Cool Striker, Super Rocket Grame, Extra Slick Tires, Super Speed Motor, High Capacity Battery, Boost Gears Plus and Medium Supsension.

Advanced Cup is 223.9 m length in 12 laps, and at a cost limit of 30. You must have Cool Striker, Super Speed Frame, Super Slick Tires, Boos Gears Plus, Super Speed Motor, Medium Suspension and High Capacity Battery.

Pro-am Race is 238.6 m length in 8 laps and the cost limit is 35. You must have Cool Striker, Ultra Speed Grame, Ultra Slick Tires, Super Speed Motor, High Speed Battery, Extra Boost Gears and Medium Supensions.

Elite Cup is 192.6 m length in 8 laps and the maximum price is 35. We recommend Cool Striker, Ultra Rocket Frame, Ultra Slick Tires, Godspeed Monitor, High Speed Battery, Boost Gears and Medium Suspension.

Expert race is 240.6 m length in 8 laps and with a price of 40. We recommend to have Cool Striker, Rubber Frame Plus, Ultra Slick Tires, Godspeed Motor, High Capacity Battery, Super Boost Gears and Medium Suspension.

Master Cup is 262.1 m length in 12 laps. The cost limit is 40. We recommend Cool Strijer, Ultra Rocket Frame, Ultra Spiked Tires, Godspeed Motor, Ultra Boost Gears, Heavy Suspension and High Capacity Battery.

Champion Cup is 220.6 m length in 4 laps. The cost limit is 45 and we recommend Cool Striker, Ultra Rubber Frame, Ultra Spiked Tires, Godspeed Motor, Regular Battery, Ultra Boos Gears, Heavy suspension and Bumper plate.

2005 King of Speed Cups is 256.8 m length in 12 laps. The cost limit is 45 and we recommend Cool Striker, Ultra Metal Frame, Ultra Slim Tires, Ultra Godspeed Motor, High Capacity Battery, Ultra Boost Gears, Heavy Suspension, High Capacity Battery and Bumper Plate.

Should I play Yakuza 0 or Kiwami first?

0 is where I started and is still possibly my favorite and I’ve played the remasters ever since

In most cases, 0 is the correct answer. but part of me thinks that it might be better to start with Kiwami. Why? Because 0 is significantly superior overall. 0 was what got me into Yakuza no doubt, and while I do love the series, immediately following up 0 with Kiwami was pretty disappointing.

As a safe bet, I would say start with 0. But if you want to go from pretty good to great, I would start with Kiwami.

How to unlock the Circuit

You have to go to Shichifuku Street West, and you will find the Stadium at the end of the street on the west part. Here you have to talk with the Pocket Ciruit Fighter and you will se the option to enter in the Fighter’s Succesor substrory. If you want to unlock the Pocket racing, you have to accept the sub-story, because here you will obtain your first car, the Golem Tiger and some car parts. If you talk the Fighter again you will be able to customize the car, to make test runs and to eneter in the tournament.

Yakuza Kiwami

Yakuza Kiwami — ремейк оригинального приключенческого экшена с видом от третьего лица Yakuza, вышедшего на PlayStation 2 в 2005 году. Игра расскажет историю мужчины по имени Кадзума Кирью, который был одним из коллекторов клана якудзы, Тодзё. Однажды он решил создать собственную группировку, но планам не суждено было сбыться — убивают босса клана, Сохея Додзиму. Кирью берёт вину на себя, пытаясь таким образом защитить своего лучшего друга, Акиру Нисикияму, и оказывается на десять лет в тюрьме. If you want to win the races you have to buy parts and to switch them.
