Unable to start the sims 4 is already running что делать
I've uninstalled and reinstalled Origin, cleared the Origin cache and deleted and reinstalled the base game and all the packs which I have, but nothing has changed.
I've also run a Dxdiag and have attached it to this post.
I'd be really grateful for any suggestions anyone might have to fix this.

Can you open up task manager and check to see if The Sims is showing as running there?

It's definitely not there in Task Manager. Thanks for replying so quickly.

I did check and both Origin and The Sims 4 (32 bit and 64 bit) are allowed through the Firewall and my antivirus.
Thanks for the suggestion though - I do appreciate you taking the trouble to reply!

@hinckleyanIn permissions make sure Origin.exe and TS4_x64.exe is allowed in the security.
Also have you tried removing the userData.lock file from the documents>electronic arts>sims4 folder? After that all you need to do is relaunch the game. But i have to warn you, unfortunately you loose all your families etc. so i recommend saving them to your gallery.
Another option is go to Documents > Electronic Arts > Sims 4 Folder > Rename the folder Sims 4_old > Relauch the game. It could be caused due to issue with game saves file.
Another thing to try is:
1. Go to the Documents folder (That is where your electronic arts folder will be stored)
2. Move the Electronics art folder onto your desktop, (make sure that there is no electronics folder in your documents folder- such as a copy of it) DO NOT DELETE THE ELECTRONIC ARTS FOLDER ONCE ON DESKTOP
3. Launch Sims 4. it should start. once you are in exit.
4. Go to the Documents and there you should see a new Electronic arts folder. click on it and then onto The Sims 4.
5. If you have any mods or saved games replace the Mods & Saves folders in your old electronic arts folder (the one on your desktop) with the ones in your new electronics art folder. (You can now delete the electronics art folder on your desktop)

I keep getting this message whenever I open try to open the game: Unable to start: The Sims 4 is already running. [ed35e0ea:29f00e76:00000000:18a1dd51]
I have tried EVERYTHING on the other posts, even posts outside EA, but nothing is working. I bought Origin Access to play The Sims 4, but all I get is this error message. I
tried sharing The Sims 4 folder, I tried repairing the game through Origin, I renamed the folder, I ran it on Windows 8&7 compatibility mode, I moved the folder, I checked my
task manager for any running processes, I restarted my computer several times, but NOTHING! I am trying to avoid reinstalling the game because my wifi is incredibly slow.
Any help would be appreciated because all I want to do is play the freaking game I paid for! The problem is not with Origin because all the other games are working fine.

While I have completely shut down my computer and started it again I still get this message. I have check task manager and nothing shows up running.
Purchased but never got to play.

If you open your task manager, do you have any processes ts4.exe already running ? If so, try to kill it
If that doesn't work, try reinstalling Origin

Open up your task manager and click "more details"
If you see Sims 4 is open, close it.
This should work.

Аж плакать хочется. Т-Т Скачивала с проверенного сайта, с него и симс 3-й скачивала, разные дополнения, а тут. Т-Т Причём в отзывах обычно пишут, если ошибка какая, у всех вроде нормально скачалось Т-Т
11 гигов.

Он же пишет что необходимые для запуска данные потеряны или повреждены. Поэтому требуется переустановка.
Если за сохранки свои боитесь, то обычно они в документах в папке "Electronic Arts". Скопируйте их и переустановите.
Я убрала все моды из папок Mods и Tray
Заработал
Но как я узнаю, что за мод мешает загрузке?
это лицензия? если нет, то скачайте другой репак. если да, обратитесь за помощью в EA.
