This is not a valid oblivion plugin or master file что делать
10 янв. 2019 в 16:01 I've recently got a new GPU and did a fresh install of Oblivion (non steam version) and before the fresh install the data files were uncompressed (not .bsa), but now they are and I'm going to be installing a lot of mods (100+), so I need to know how to uncompress them or what else to do. Any help at all would be appreciated :)
Best to way to make it clear is: Go to Oblivion Nexus and download a mod, you'll probably receive from nexus a .ZIP or .7z file, or even a .RAR.
Open it with your favorite archive handling tool (7z is recommended because it can handle several formats and it's really free) and see what's inside.
You'll see that depending on the mod you downloaded, you'd have a file ending in .ESP (that's the actual mod plugin) and some folders, like meshes, textures, menus, etc. Or you could have a Data\ folder at the root, and then inside it the other things. depends on the modder how he/she decided to package the mod.
Inside those folder there would be files that the mod adds to the game, like some *.NIF files for meshes, or some *.DDS for textures. if the mods has some.
What we're saying is that you need to decompress the *actual* mod archive you download from the mod site, and copy its content to the Data\ folder of the game respecting the subfolders.
10 янв. 2019 в 17:40 "extract mod archives/packages" how would you go about doing that?10 янв. 2019 в 17:42 Usually when you download a mod it's in a ZIP/RAR/7ZIP archive. Just use your decompression software of choice - 7Zip covers pretty much everything. 10 янв. 2019 в 17:54 Could I use that software to decompress those files once I'm done? 10 янв. 2019 в 17:55 If you mean your BSA files, then "no", and "what part of 'don't do that' are you not understanding?". 10 янв. 2019 в 17:58 Ok let me get this straight you want me to use 7zip or some other software to edit the .bsa file, NOT decompress edit then recompress? 10 янв. 2019 в 18:14

1. OBLIVIFALL INTRODUCTION
Oblivifall "Vengeance of the Classic" is a project that aims to bring many features from The Elder Scrolls 2 : Daggerfall to Oblivion. For many old fans of Elder Scrolls, Daggerfall is still the best cRPG Bethesda has ever designed or even the best cRPG ever made. I will be releasing many separate mods that will add new features and options to Oblivion.
This package is the Master File. This ESM (Master) file contains every data entry about shared elements between Oblivifall modules. Items, dialogues, factions, etc. Check section 2 to see what Oblivifall modules require the Master File. I recommend you to also check section 9 to see what modules have been released or are in the works.
The newer Oblivifall modules require the Master File to run. If you are unsure, check your modules' readme to see what version is compatible with your module.
Make sure you activate a module along with the Master File or you'll get nothing at all. Except a couple of dialogue lines. See section 2 below.
2. MODULE COVERING & REQUIREMENTS

5. SAVE GAMES

This is not a valid oblivion plugin or master file что делать
16 мар. 2016 в 13:32 this is not a valid oblivion plugin or master file I have a problem with some mods that yesterday worked fine but today when I started the launcher and goes to data files mutliple warnings pops up ( this is not a valid oblivion plugin or master file) and some of the mods are disabled. I tried to reinstall the mods using nexus mod manager but the problem still occurs. I have no idea where is the problem 16 мар. 2016 в 16:26The most common reason for that error is the mod requires some other mod to be installed for it to work properly. The next reason is the Master or .ESP is corrupt. In some cases, have the mods been installed properly?
16 мар. 2016 в 20:44Have you attempted to install some manually or over-written/deleted some files by accident? This can be a common way to cause conflicts and errors. If the mod file is NMM-ready or in .obmm format, then use a mod manager. Manual installs tend to lead to these kind of problems.
As Dadelus mentioned, it'd be helpful if you could post the mods/load order you're using.

every6thing was installed properly, as I said the day before everything worked perfectly and the next day it starts crashing and error starts to pop up 18 мар. 2016 в 13:59

Then great, obviously you are not having any problems now and the game is running well. Have fun.
Not a valid oblivion plugin
Im having problems with adding mods.
I can not check the file in the oblivion launcher.
When I try to check them I get "this is not a valid oblivion plugin or master file"
I have read all the topics I found with searching and none had a solution.
I have had a lot of mods before, but now I reinstalled and they do not work anymore (ANY mod: example tqp map marker mods, keychain)
I can check the files with obmm, but it does not affect anything. (though when opening obmm the files are still checked)
And every time I launch obmm I get "could not load BSA".
I have checked the requirements for the mods and I have everything needed and installed properly (Its not my first time with mods anyways..)
I have GOTY (obiviously 12 0 416 patch, since goty came after)
All help will be appreciated
