При помощи программируемых мышей-клавиатур, используя скрипты AutoHotkey и подобных, можно реализовать некоторые небезынтересные возможности управления.
- Многократное нажатие левой кнопки мыши, 4-7 раз подряд. Разбивает выступы известняка и тут же подхватывает содержимое. Также помогает при ловле рыбы вручную и подборе свободно валяющихся предметов — если с первого раза промахнулся.
- Если не работает клик мышью в отладочном режиме. Поможет подобный скрипт.

25 янв. 2018 в 11:38 I have a prblem with the controller and the game's menus, I can't go up nor down in them (inventory, main menut, etc) and it shifts to the right, meaning if I want to select something on the left it moves back to the right. I tried reinstalling subnautica, and still the same issues, the controller works on other gamesso I know it does work. I have this issue on an xbox one controller and a ps4 controller. I got my wifes working. I went to STEAM on the top left, then SETTINGS. Left side on the box that pops up CONTROLLER. Then I clicked GENERAL CONTROLLER SETTINGS. This opened another window and it listed her Xbox 360 controller and the Razer Tartarus. So I unplugged the Tartarus. I tested and still didn't work so I rebooted in case the Razer software still ran for it even unplugged. After reboot her controller is working fine now. You can go to a menu and click on the farthest left item with the mouse and when you try to use the controller it goes all the way to the right. If you click left with the D-pad it immediately moves right when you let it up. I have it with a Belkin N52 and a xbox one controller. I think it's just steam getting multiple inputs mixed up even if you're not using the other inputs when gaming. 9 июн. 2018 в 12:53
I solved it by going into settings > controller settings > ps4 configuration support.
I gave my ps4 controller a green light too. Didn't realize steam gave me so many customization options, used to Sony locking them down.
I'm having a sort of similar problem and can't find a solution anywhere. I'm trying to play the game on my nVidia Shield with the Shield controller which has basically the same layout as an xbox controller. It works perfectly fine with literally any other game but in Subnautica I can not move with the left stick at all unless I click it and hold it down which is VERY cumbersome and is keeping me from playing the game.

Subnautica does not have motion controls as far as I know
As noted on the store page, there is no support for motion controllers and as of today has a bright message indicating "The VR mode for this game requires the use of a gamepad or a keyboard and mouse".
The animations are good, graphics are great (the game is freaking gorgeous!), the rewards good and the terrors are real! You will crap your pants!
ps: never use the controller to turn, stand up and use your head and body.

Tried Big Picture mode on Steam?
I use an Xbone controller, in the Subnautica options menu under controls there was an "enable controller" option. Click that box and it should work immediately.
Xbox works good. I use a Logitech F710 wireless controller. It has the design of a Playstation controller with the buttons of an Xbox controller.
It always just works. No fooling around with anything. Plus if you play a game on the Xbox or PS4. Then play the same game on the PC with an F710 controller. The button layout is exactly the same.
