I am curious on the subject of this particular mechanism as it was brought to my attention that it only increases the effectiveness of “Magical” type of spells.
I want to know if it actually increases all kind of damage like Physical ( Dazzles Poison touch) and Pure like Shadow demons Ultimate?
yes it amps all spells that dont have fixed values. hold ALT while you are hovering over the spells to see if it amps. fist and swachbuckle are fixed, while kunkka's tidebringer is not fixed, that's why it amps
So if i go into demo heroes and get a Null or Kaya and press ALT it should show if it’s amplified?
Weird i always hit the button in game but i never noticed anything.
Should it show in green underneath the spell?
no the dmg value in the tooltip will jump from like 340 to 376.2 for example

Stacking [ ]
Heal, health regeneration, lifesteal, and spell lifesteal amplifications stack diminishingly, so do reductions. However, amplifications and reductions are calculated separately, and then the sum of reductions gets subtracted from the sum of the amplifications.

I perceive this when I buy a Radiance, because it gives much more damage.
So Necro`s only hability affected by spell amp. is the first one? His healing and damage amplifies?

Necro`s damage used to be pure, now they changed to magic damage. Since an aura is still a spell, I thought spell amp would have some impact on it. The game should have been more clear about that, tough.

How significant is 5-8% spell damage amplification really?
Lets say a 300 dmg nuke. 5% spell amp gives an increase of a whopping 15 damage totaling 315 dmg. With 25% magic res the total damage comes out to 236 compared to 225 without amp.
Is it really really worth it given the opportunity cost of Talents (primarily)? Thoughts? Am i misunderstanding something or is it actually that underwhelming?

Health Freeze [ ]
A unit's health can also be frozen, so that no heals, lifesteal, or regeneration can increase it.
The following abilities freeze health:
Duration: 10/11/12The debuff prevents the current health of affected units from increasing. Duration: 7/8.5/10 ( 8.5/10/11.5)
Also negates all damage taken for the duration.
However, Health Freeze does not prevent the following abilities from increasing the hero's health:
