Slay the spire как играть вдвоем

Hey I figured there weren't enough threads talking about multiplayer.
Since it makes 0 sence to post them all together I think it's a pretty great idea to make a new one about it.
I look forward to seeing all of yours too!

Although multiplayer has a possibility and a few spaces where it could be added.
I honestly thought of some sort of PVP where both players climb a seperate lvl 1 tower, and instead of a boss at the end of the first tower, it'd be an arena where both players face off.
Of course, my idea might not work as well, due to the need to level up to unlock cards.
Co-op has more space than anything, but the game's difficulty might need to be upped in some form durring co-op.

When the OP talks a lot more about there being posts about multiplayer than any actual idea about multiplayer, I'm pretty sure he's trolling. 4 мар. 2018 в 17:10 No need to add to the spam just cuz you're salty about redundant posts.
Feel free to punish me forum renta cop.
Edgy post though :)
4 мар. 2018 в 18:45 5 дек. 2018 в 16:02An idea I had in mind for a co-op session is both players draw their own hand, but have to share 5 energy, rather than 3 each. This will spike the difficulty a bit much, but this can be compensated for the diversity of cards possible. you'd also have your own potion stacks and card rewards, but I would advise that starting hp is halved. This would require enemies to pick targets and be able to attack all targets with certain attacks. Nothing a fresh coat of color coding can't solve. It can lead to some OP strats, but nothing without a cost in the long term.
Note: new cards may be necessary to account for how a new Block system might have to work.

Тема закрыта 14 авг. 2018 в 6:08 This game is really awesome, but unfortunately is a single player game and i think that this game can be even better if has an online modeDo you agree with me? 14 авг. 2018 в 6:36 How would coop mode work? You and a partner take turns playing cards? The cards/encounters are balanced around having a single player character, so it wouldn't be very easy to retool all the encounters to be balanced around any combination of two characters. 18 авг. 2018 в 9:57 With a little tweaking my awelycaribou friends this could work just fine. Have one controlling the bad boys fighing system I am sure a human would make much better work of conrtolling them then the ai. Would be fun to bash scrub friends as a scally monster man ! 18 авг. 2018 в 13:45
Strong disagree. It works quite well as a single player game.
Go play one of the other 100000 card games that have multiplayer.
18 авг. 2018 в 14:23 There is multiplayer, but you need to beat Ascension 20 to unlock it 19 авг. 2018 в 1:39 19 авг. 2018 в 1:48 No I don't think this game is in need of any kind of co-op or pvp aspect 19 авг. 2018 в 2:35 19 авг. 2018 в 2:43Did you just comehere to write this? without an explanation I meant to say, check my discussion about co-op. He said the same thing xD
And I agree about co-op, there is a huge opportunity and I believe this game will be even better.

19 авг. 2018 в 13:24 That's exactly what I said to myself too (especially considering this thread got "resurected") but I thought posting here as well might be seen as trollish. Which of course never been my intention. 19 авг. 2018 в 13:33Did you just comehere to write this? without an explanation I meant to say, check my discussion about co-op. He said the same thing xD

OP actually asked if we agree or not unlike your discussion where you state your opinion and don't even ask for others:( 19 авг. 2018 в 17:40 It could actually work, you have 2 characters on the same screen playing each their turn vs monsters that are much more stronger. 20 авг. 2018 в 6:25 It could actually work, you have 2 characters on the same screen playing each their turn vs monsters that are much more stronger.
Yeah, but that would require a complete balance rehaul of the entire game. Not only would you need to worry about six combinations of characters:
But also how all the different cards would play with eachother.
20 авг. 2018 в 12:45This is from the other discussion but I feel it sums up the problems with both your "ideas". Feel free to bring up a competent way to make it work because no one here has posted anything remotely close to a way it could work
Well I disagree because the game isn't built for it. It would be a massive drain on resources and they would have to remake everything except the graphics to make it work.
Just on a basic level of gameplay this game tends towards soloplay cause of obvious enemy targets and combo-tendencies. There isn't much room for another player to meaningfully interact in the boundaries of the game.
In something like mtg you can at least build up armies, with artifacts and enchantments supporting eachother. This game is all burn, draw and mana spells, pretty much the least interactive gameplay elements. There is little-to-no board to buildup, it's all deck, hand and face.
Yeah what he said, and to expand on that for PVP this game isnt balanced for any kind of back and forth interaction. The most basic problem is that Strikes do 6 damage while Blocks will only prevent 5 damage so mathmatically there is absolutely no reason to do any move other than strike because you will always deal more damage than you can block so it would lead to boring rng games of who can get the most strikes. Also this game isnt balanced for using an entire 80 hp life bar every fight, the Ironclad is supposed to be able to heal after battle so his relic is rendered useless in this regard.
On that same note many cards and relics are balanced being able to see enemy intentions. Either you can see what another player is going to do every turn leading again to boring rng games where there is absolutely no skill involved or the alternative would be you don't see another players intent which again would lead to just playing attacks every single opportunity because they are more beneficial than blocking. Also relics that do things after battle, add max hp, let you start with certain cards, or relics like the Dome which gives you extra energy or Spot Weakness which gives you strength are both tied to seeing intent and would all be useless.
You have given zero thought as to how to balance the game when the entire game is based on recognizing patterns and min maxxing your build to compensate. What do you do if your opponent actually has a good deck that will kill you in one turn or has infinite combos? What do you do if they apply 7 poison then triple it twice giving you 63 poison on turn one. Sorry but your "idea", if you can even call it that, has zero viability and is frankly terrible because it completely nullifies a huge portion of cards, relics, and tactics.
But hey Im sure you probably won't even read this far because again you don't want to hear any kind of criticism you just want us to blindly agree with you. If you actually were interested in playing a real card game that is set up for co-op and pvp you could play MTG like this guy said. It is a great game that actually has player interaction and requires skill. Seriously this generation of kids (now I sound old) won't even acknowledge how good a game is if it doesnt have online leaderboards, co-op, pvp and battle royale as if having an online component is not only mandatory but necessary to be good. It kinda makes me sad.
Two player coop mode
As excellent as this game already is, I could see a two player coop mode making STP even more addicting. Playing as Ironclad with your Silent friend and crafting your own personal decks sounds like great fun to me. Enemies could have something like double HP and always attacking both players to balance it out. Players would need to coordinate with precision on how to synergize best each turn and choose the optimal route to benefit both. What do guys you think?
New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be castI LOVE multiplayer games, and I think STS is a gem among them--as a single-player game.
Even cooler would be a dungeon master run where you can make your own stages. Like a custom mode.
I also was discussing with with my friend, coop would make this game disgusting fun on discord - just in general. Even more when the third [4th?] class comes out - it would make the game like a new age Gauntlet! Lets make this happen!
That and some sort of multiplayer as in pvp. It might be hard to make but think of it. You could be ironclad vs silent and you would get to choose 3 relics and 10 cards or something and then duke it out 1v1. Sounds pretty good to me.
Coin flip to decide who picks first, other player picks from the remaining two.
Then they each remove up to five cards, allowing them to take out either their starters or bad cards they were given by the opponent.
Each player then receives 3 random combat-effecting relics. This could also be done at the beginning to influence the way the players create their decks.
I love the idea. Alot of people suggest continuing singleplayer develoupment, but who sais singleplayer will stop develouping or that coop mode will take priority over it?
Something very simple like 2x hp on enemies and they always attack both players sounds like a great foundation (that can be tweeked and balanced over a few patches). Or keep the enemies identical but double their number. 2 champs instead of 1 etc.
Slay the Spire.
