Mr Kildee said he will concentrate on 50 cities, identified in a recent study by the Brookings Institution, an influential Washington think-tank, as potentially needing to shrink substantially to cope with their declining fortunes. Most are former industrial cities in the "rust belt" of America's Mid-West and North East. They include Detroit, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Baltimore and Memphis.

Rust Belt Derby (РосБР) является футбол дерби играли между Detroit City FC , FC Буффало и АФК Кливленде в Национальной Премьер Футбольной Лиги , четвертый ярус американской футбол . Дерби был назван в честь региона Ржавого Пояса США. RBD был создан и спонсируется группами сторонников The Situation Room (Buffalo) The 6th City Syndicate (Кливленд) The Northern Guard Supporters (Детройт).
Сериал был основан на результатах игр трех сторон, как и в Кубке Каскадии . Кливленд выиграл первое дерби «Ржавый пояс» 23 июня 2012 года после ничьей 1–1 с «Детройт Сити».
