like alt tabbing out of the game then back to fullscreen again. Hope it saves that guy from having to move his pc..

Better color accuracy.
But you need a monitor (rare) or tv (middle to high end 4kmodels ) that can handle it
benefit is a nicer picture. When it´s implemented correctly.

Had the say problem with Jump Force. i was given a config text to add to the normal engine.ini for that one that when put in it turns HDR to ) rather than ! and hdr is off. I would do the same for this one but i cant find the .ini or config file for it. This should not be a problem nowadays. Such a simple thing for a developer to have an option to turn it off if it is on as default. I´m not sure if all 4k tv´s does HDR..and even if they do they may not actually do it well. Depends on make and model etc. 4k is not the same as HDR

PSA: Turn off HDR for Devil May Cry 5
The game uses the Remake Engine, the same as Resident Evil 2 is built on. HDR is basically the same, and adds a grey veil on the picture.
I have an OLED, I found that using SDR is better. This gives you 3 settings, I bumped the first the max, second to lowest (as opposed to the description), and the third one as the description says. I found that this brings out shadow detail without ruining actual blacks.

God of War does it right too.
Uncharted 4 looks great with it!
Horizon is sweet candy with it.

Devil May Cry 5 PC Tweaks
Here are some Devil May Cry 5 tweaks that should improve the experience of the game:
Cap FPS
You can lock the FPS by using RivaTuner Statistics Server. Download the software and input your desired FPS cap.
Stop game crashing every 15 minutes
If you are using a touch-enabled screen then there are chances that the game is crashing after every 15 minutes or so. If that is the case then all that you need to do is open the task manager, go into the Services tab and disable TabletInputService.
Improve graphics performance
Switch to DX11 rendering by opening SteamApps\common\Devil May Cry 5\dmc5config.ini. Once here change the value of TargetPlatform to DirectX11.
Disable depth of field
If you need to disable the depth of field then go to SteamApps\common\Devil May Cry 5\dmc5config.ini and change the value of DepthOfFiledEnable to false.
Remove Denuvo
If you want to remove denuvo then you need to replace the exe file with this one.
Turn HDR off
While there is no proper way of turning HDR off, some players have reported that switching to windowed mode turns the settings off so it is worth a shot.
