Integrated Camera Issue
When I try to use the Camera app, I receive the error message: 0xA00F4289<ActiveCameraUnplugged> (0xC00D3EA2)z and 0xA00F4244<NoCamerasAreAttached>.
My drivers are up to date and the anti-virus apps are not blocking camera use. I have a Lenovo windows 10 and have been using it for about a year.
The error message flashes, as if trying to connect repeatedly. When I first open the app I see the Camera Unplugged message, but after a few seconds, it changes to no cameras are attached. It used to work the day after resetting it on settings; however, it now just shows <MediaCaptureFailedEvent> straight after or just continues to show what I describes above.
When trying to use it through a google meet, it says 'integrated camera connected', but then states that there was an 'unknown error'.
If anyone has any tips on how to tackle this, please let me know.

Firstly, please check your privacy settings:
Go to Start > Settings > Privacy > under "Apps permission", select camera tab > check that "allow apps to access your camera" and "allow desktop apps to access your camera" are turned on. Also, check that the apps that you want to use are switched on under "choose which Microsoft store apps can access your camera"
If this issue started occurring after a recent windows update, you can try roll back driver:
Go to Start > Type "Device Manager" and hit enter > right click on your camera driver > select properties > select driver tab > click roll back driver
If roll back driver isn’t available or did not work, you can try uninstall your camera driver and scan for hardware changes:
Go to Start > Type "Device Manager" and hit enter > right click on your camera driver > select properties > select driver tab > click on uninstall device > select "Delete the driver software for this device" and click OK > In Device Manager, on the Action menu, select Scan for hardware changes > Wait for it to scan and reinstall the driver then restart your pc and check if the issue still persists.
Also, go to Start > Type "Windows Update Settings" hit enter > Click on "Check for updates" to ensure you have installed the latest windows update.
Restart your computer and check if the problem still persists.
I hope this helps. If this is not exactly what you need, please explain more so that I can help you better.
I'm getting error code 45 for Integrated Camera in my Asus TUF F15 laptop as soon as I turn on my camera for Zoom, Webex, Google Meet or any Video calling app/web version on browser. However Windows Camera app works fine.
Tried numerous ways to rectify the issue:-
1.Opening Device Manager, Uninstalling the camera driver, Rebooting the Laptop. (Error code is erased But soon I start video calling it gets disabled again)
3.Hardware Troubleshooting but no issues found.
5.Windows Update (Upto date) currently on
(Windows 10 Home , Version : 19042.630 2H20.).
Since Asus doesn't provide executable file of camera drivers for Gaming Laptops.
Driver is provided by Microsoft.

I went through the link you mentioned above. Those steps were followed already. I suspect windows firewall is blocking the camera access for incoming network. Is there any method or a change in firewall settings to enable the access?Report abuse

I reviewed your comments and add below the next steps, that allow enabling camera in the apps doing the following:
1. Go to Windows settings and select Privacy
2. Select Camera on the left pane. Verify that it says "Camera access for this device is on". If it's off, press Change and toggle it on.
3. Switch on the “Allow apps to access your camera” toggle.
4. Under "Choose which apps can access your camera" check that Desktop App Web Viewer is turned on as some desktop applications will need it.
5. Scroll down and check if you have "Allow desktop apps to access your camera" section and turn that toggle on as well.
6. You will also need these changes for microphone privacy settings.
After, please restart those applications where you’ve wanted to use the camera or webcam.
About your last question referent to the Firewall settings, I suggest to you review the next link that explains this situation:

Hello, I have the same issue with the camera on my asus tuf 15. And I did everything mentioned above, and above. I tried like a lot of stuff, but I didn't find anything working on the internet. To add more information about the problem about my problem, the camera works sometimes, but sometimes doesn't. When it works, it shows in device manager as normally. But when it doesn't work, it disappear from device manager at all, although, if you click in task manager the "View" button, and then click "Show hidden devices" you will still be able to see it, but the icon will be faded. Clicking on its properties it will show the Error code 45, and it will tell you to reconnect the camera(and you can't, because it's and integrated camera). But the weird thing is that sometimes just work.
On discord by example, it works almost all the times when you first try to use it, but then if you stop the camera(on discord), you will have to wait around 2 minutes until it appears again as working(both in discord and in task manager). On cisco webex, if you get your camera to work, it will just work without interruptions, even if you use discord in the same time, the camera won't go off anymore, if it successfully works on webex. But as soon as you close cisco webex app, the camera goes away again for 2 minutes.
And on skype, the device manager is just refreshing again and again, at an interval of 1 second, and the camera is always shows as disconnected. And when I close skype, it will stay a few seconds and then connect again and work just fine. Not least, the camera app from windows doesn't influence the laptop camera at all. If the camera works, the camera app just won't affect it, anything you do, and so if the camera is not working, the camera app won't work as well. I run these tests at least 15 times, and they always have the same results. So those camera problems are completely dependent to on what app you are trying to use your camera.
