Biography
Hylo was born on Balmorra. Her father worked for a droid factory before the war, but died in one of the first battles. Hylo, still a child and along with her mother, was now a refugee. Shortly after their arrival on Nar Shaddaa, her mother died. Now being stranded, alone on a new world, Hylo decided to learn to be a mechanic and start saving for a ship of her own.

OK, so you found out why she disappeared. Why not help out the next person by explaining?Yeah, my Hylo Visz is gone now - I'm on Chapter V of Knights of the Eternal Throne and I don't quite remember her disappearing in the story, but maybe I wasn't paying attention? I'll complete this chapter and hope she comes back, but for now she's gone.
Note: I checked in the hangar where she was at the end of KotFE, but she wasn't there either.
I recently had a similar situation. I went to Hylo's usual spot and she wasn't there. But then I realized that I was at a part in the KoW/E story where you have to meet Hylo in the "hanger" where Aygo is. Once you meet Hylo there and do the cutscenes, Hylo returns to her usual spot.If not, a re-log usually fixes things.

Hylo Visz
Hylo Visz was a smuggler and an unlikely hero of the Great Galactic War. She tried to break the Mandalorian Blockade with a group of other smugglers. When the attempt looked all but defeated, the Republic joined the fight and broke the blockade. It is assumed that she died a year after that event.
