Tips for the Metal Ball Run
Hide your Stand unless being attacked by other players or when you reach the 4th stage. It is a very important thing to remember as stands that are really good often become direct targets. If your stand is kept out for a long period of time people can use its weaknesses to create a plan to knock you out of the race.
- Your horse can go above 34 speed, but only for brief periods as doing so drains stamina. When all stamina runs out, the horse halts, taking time to recover.
- Stands with time skip abilities such as KC can be used to hamper other's progress in the race and prove the most useful of all Stands. However, when using time skip, there is a glitch with horses getting stuck, forcing a dismount to fix the horse.
- Use Time Stop sparingly, as you will be surprised by its effectiveness in the race.
- Don't worry about leaving your horse by the new York bridge at the 4th stage. After enough players die, there is a large enough delay to get your horse to the bridge.
- Save revolver ammo, it's important at the end of the race for delaying opponents. can be good practice for the race as your revolver is vital.
- Limb removing Stands help, but not as much as those with time abilities.
- Allies help, but only three players can win the race. Be ready to betray your allies if you want to win, also be ready to get betrayed.
- Try to avoid big groups if you are not acquainted with them. If you're by yourself, a 1v4 is the last thing you want.
- You can avoid getting lost the entire race by going right the entire time.
- Picking off solo players is not good especially if you are a solo player yourself as they may be small but they create issues for big teams.
- Revolver ammo cannot be regained by any means.
- The final bridge is not able to provide any threat except for enemy players.
- A small group of 3-4 is recommended.
- Placement does not matter until the end. Just try to survive. When you get to the Liberty Bridge, go all out. Go to 50 speed with your horse and use your revolver to shoot other players while dodging bullets that are shot at you. This is also where Scary Monsters can shine, but it gets slowed down easily. nail bullets allow as an alternative range option instead of the gun you are given at the start.
- Always act as if you're in a team, people will target solo players.
- When you get to the final stage, park your horse away from everyone else's as to not get horse blocked before the final stretch.
- It is recommended to not wander to the left side of the desert as some find it dangerous and even at times confusing.
- At the last part of the SBR, the bridge, it is recommended to go all out at 50 speed, quickly dashing with your horse to get to the end. If this strategy proves successful, you will win the race.
- Do not use Sword-Style's X or H move. Doing so will fling your horse.
- Use White Album during the race as you can use Gently Weeps, negating most projectiles.
- Remember, SBR is as much as a psychological game as it is a fighting one. When the server is grouped together, people will use any excuse to take out a player, and everyone will comply, since they too wish to lower the player count. Stay with the popular opinion, try not to stick out, and help wipers if necessary.
- Never hide (at least not directly.) Although this may seem like a good idea, people will find any excuse to take out a player. Hiding is a well known taboo in the game, and if someone catches you in a secluded spot, you may as well as accept defeat. It is however acceptable if you take an alternate route such as the Poopverse, since you are still out in the open, with the only threat being wipers.
- Avoid making big teams, as people can see your codes and act like your teammate.
- You can use GER's Return To Zero to clear up the surroundings to look for enemies or to find your way. Also use this when someone uses time-related abilities like Time Stop.
27. It is highly recommended to use a healing stand and to heal others at devil's palm in order to gain trust.
28. If you are going to wipe, it is recommended to wipe at devil's palm where everyone is low from the poison damage, but you have to get there earlier than everyone else.
29. Tusk's Nail Glide ability will accelerate you in hot or cold areas, but only slightly.
30. If there are 3-4 people fighting eachother, an event can occur where the fight attracts other wipers and players to join in. This causes a war that wipes out most of the server; to attract a fight, you can mostly frame someone with ranged attacks.
31. ALWAYS stay away from the red wall in the bridge because a lot of players will go to the wall and you will have a huge chance of getting bonked, flung by an AoE attack like TWOH's Smite, or just getting knocked away from your horse.
32. During the final race, you can use counters or moves that give i-frames like GER's RTZ to avoid some of the bullets.
33. It is highly recommended to use a speed buff move such as YOS or any of the Awakenings near the end of the final race so that if you get knocked off your horse you can still possibly win.
34. When feeding Horse Feed to your horse don't feed the Heat Resistance Horse Feed as it makes no discernable difference. However, always feed your horse the Cold Resistant Horse Feed as you will move much faster than everybody else in the arctic for a short amount of time.
35. It is highly recommended to park your horse just outside of the arctic, then getting on it and going back with everybody else exactly 15 seconds before the third stage opens as you will be faster than everybody else. Using the Cold Resistance Horse Feed will make your faster for a longer period of time.
36. USE YOUR REVOLVER - Many people see it as worthless, but it is an extremely versatile tool that can even ensure your victory or help you out of a tight spot. In combat, the revolver serves as a ranged block breaker and deals around 5.5 damage, which chips away a huge amount of health when shot repeatedly with. Even more prominent, at the end race, the block breaking and damage mechanics come extremely handy, as horses slow down when taking damage, along with losing stamina, which in turn renders said horse useless. If someone is ahead of you, consistently fire your revolver and it will hinder them severely, even putting them out of the race with their horse's stamina at 0.
37. Keep Track of Time - This tip can go both ways. It's never a good idea to rush through the stages, as you have ample time to make it to the end at a moderate pace (assuming you survive other players). HOWEVER, you must always be aware of what stage the players are in. It is easy to lose track of time engaging in combat, and people occasionally die to the zone of the last stage due to being so far behind. It is worth noting however that you are able to reach the final stage between stage 3 from the starting point. It is not recommended to take such risks however.
38. Avoid C-Moons - This goes for all stages, although the final stage is where it really shines. Generally, C-Moon's uppercut can easily get you ganged on by players and disables your stand. However, in the final stage, the stand becomes the most dangerous stand in the game. With the zone dealing poison damage, a C-Moon can easily throw you out and attack you in pilot leaving you defenseless and losing health rapidly from the poison. Even worse, the floor in SBR is VERY thin, and it is easy to get glitched through the floor and stuck outside the zone. During the New York Bridge race, a C-Moon can THROW YOU OFF THE MAP with one uppercut. ALWAYS stay far from a C-Moon user.
39. It is recommended to take down Silver Chariot: Requiem users if you can, as at the end, a good SC:R user can use Your Own Shadow after getting infront of a good amount of people, making it so anyone who shoots at them virtually takes themselves out of the race, while using their revolver to further punish anyone already slowed down, or knock more people. And if you knock them off their horse, they can use A Helping Hand to potentially still win. However they won't be as fast as a horse at 50 speed.
40. Don't use stands such as Tusk Act 1/3 or D4C for the fact that people will kill you if they know that you need to get the win for heart, pelvis, or arm.
41. Also Avoid Hierophant Greens as they can use marionette control in areas like poopverse and New York City bridge to control you and make you fall out of the world
42.When you are in a team be aware that some players are friends or the same gang as they will help each other and target the remaining players in the end.
43.As useful as it seems try to avoid using evolved stands like twoh, mih, ta4 and d4c lt as other players will know that you wont need win and use every excuse to eliminate you in the race.

Layout
Beginning Area/Town
This is the spawn area. Players can only get the umbrella from Jongic (when the race starts, as before the race start no NPC will react to you.), get the requiem arrow quest from Prestige Master Will, or purchase heat or cold resistant horses with horse feed, which can be obtained by winning 3rd, 2nd or 1st in competitive mode. South from the ocean, there is the starting line with the race track blocked by a red barrier that goes off after 60 seconds after 16 players are in the SBR/MBR Server.
The Desert/The Devil's Palm
The first area of the race. This area is very hot and arid, sandstorms make it hard to see. Devil's Palm is an extremely hot area near the end of the desert in which players will take poison damage. Devil's Palm is the most common place where wipers will probably slow you down. The "main" route is to stick to the right the entire time, which will get you to Devil's Palm rather quickly. There is also an alternate route known as the poopverse. The poopverse is a obstacle and is accessible by constantly going left. Although if you fail the obstacle you may fall in to the void and instantly die. But this lets you skip Devils palm and avoid players. Wipers will usually take this route, as it is spread apart from the main path.
The Plains
The second area of the race. This is a sunny grassy area that is mainly flat The other Sunny grassy area is like the other but raining with fog making the player hard to see the players. This area is relatively easier, with no dangers aside from other players. It is also the shortest part of the race, tied with the New York City Bridge.
The Arctic
The third area of the race. It is a very cold and frigid tundra, with white fog that makes it hard to see. The cold will make your horse go slower. Additionally, your horse's speed will not slow back down to 34 automatically (should you go above this speed) while in this zone.
The Battle Zone
The second-to-final area of the race. This area is a battleground in which the next stage will not open until there are 7 players or less remaining. There is also a barrier closing in on the area. Normally 5 things will happen when you are here. One is 1v1s, where people will pick either who they want to 1v1 or which people will 1v1. Another is FFA, which is just a free for all. During a FFA you may spot some players staying away from the fight, as either they are too weak or don't want to risk dying. Another possibility is Simon Says, where the players will pick a Simon, and whoever doesn't do what Simon Says gets killed. This repeats until there are 7 players left. The next is a team war, in which 2 or 3 teams will be fighting against each other until there are less than 7 players leftAnd the last of these 5 is a Voting. where a group of players will vote for a player to be eliminated. Another method is beatdown roulette. Where one player with a beatdown will beatdown and whoever gets hit dies. This is often considered unfair as the people who beatdown are often granted immunity from dying. Do not hide as other players will kill you as it is considered a cowardly thing to do
New York City Bridge
The final stretch of the race. This is a long bridge that leads to the end of the course. Players will use the revolver to slow the horses down. Any stand that has a reflecting move or a counter move is good for this bridge as it reflects the damage to other players or stuns them. This area will only open when there are 7 or less players remaining. When someone wins the race, every player will be teleported back to the main game. When the final stretch starts. Love Train, Conqueror’s Will, Time Erase, Time Stop, Gravitational Shift, Aerial Ace, Double Acceleration, Time Acceleration, Time Skip, Stand Jump and Universe Reset will all be disabled. Gyro Zeppeli is also located here, he will give you spin upon giving him $10,000 and a Steel Ball.

Horse Feed
It can help your Horse be more resistant to the Heat or Cold in some of the featured Steel Ball Run stages.
You can give your Horse "Horse Feed" when entering the Stable near Jongic.
In the stable there are two Horse NPCs
The Orange Horse allows you to trade one Horse Feed to add a Heat Resistance level to your horse.
The Tan Yellow Horse allows you to trade one Horse Feed to add a Cold Resistance level to your horse.
How To Obtain The Requiem Arrow
Players who have Prestige can talk to Prestige Master Will in the Town area of the Steel Ball Run lobby and receive the quest "Win the Steel Ball Run for Will." Upon winning the Steel Ball Run and completing the quest, they can talk to Isabelle the Arrowsmith and she will give the player a Requiem arrow for $7500 and a normal Stand Arrow. For this quest, winning first place is not needed as second and third will also do. You can only take this quest if you do not have any Requiem Arrows in your inventory.
Metal Ball Run (Steel Ball Run)

The Metal Ball Run is a horse racing event in Your Bizarre Adventure. It is derived from the race of the name "Steel Ball Run" (changed due to copyright) centrally featured in Part 7 of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. The race takes place on a vast course with several areas and checkpoints and is from San Diego (California) to New York City (New York). The race also has many dangers to be wary of, including other players. Upon winning the race, winners are given a cosmetic and the ability to buy a Requiem Arrow through Prestige Master Will's quest.
In the SBR lobby, you can't use your Stand, this is not a glitch, you just need to wait for the race to start. Although we have not gotten an official reason for this it is likely so people cannot attack others in the lobby, hindering their ability to compete in the race. (Example: Stands with the ability to slow down opponents, etc.)
Summary
The race is held in special servers separated from the main game. there are two classes of the Steel Ball Run: Casual and Competitive. In Casual, players with Evolved stands, Tusk Act 4, D4C: Love Train, Killer Queen: Bites the Dust and The World Over Heaven are not allowed to compete (Unless their stand is stored in a Stand Storage) and the race doesn't count towards the leaderboard. In Competitive, Requiem stands are allowed and the race counts toward the leaderboard. You must be prestige 2+ to access the Steel Ball Run now.
Upon joining a Steel Ball Run server, each player spawns with a horse for the race. After 16 players join a server, the race will commence 1 minute after and each player will receive a revolver. PVP is disabled until the race starts. Horses have a stamina meter which will drain when the horse goes above 34 speed. Horses also have a temperature gauge that will cause the horse to go slower if the horse is too cold or too hot.
Unlike in the regular game where most people frown on underhanded tactics and very cheap moves such as running or stopping time. In the Steel Ball Run, it is suggested to do whatever it takes to win. So always be alert and realize there is nothing fair about this race whatsoever. It is a free for all, but generally considered a good challenge for experienced players.

Для входа в Steel Ball Run требуется второй престиж, и Gyro стоит как и в Casual так и в Competitive. Так же помните что когда гонка закончена и победители объявлены, через некоторое время вас отправят обратно в основную игру, так что не медлите а то придётся проходить SBR заново.
Части святого трупа можно получить за прохождение SBR’а или с маленьким шансом выбить из аркады. Теперь из Сбра выпадают части трупа со статусом Redeemed, поэтому они теперь фиолетовые и их нельзя выбрасывать.
