Focusrite control output routing is not supported on this device на windows 7 что делать
AU Lab will not route audio to Saffire 6. I'm creating an EQ for the overall audio on my Mac - if I set to output through internal speakers, it works perfectly - but if output is set to Saffire 6, AU Lab won't even recognise an input from Soundflower, let alone send an output to the interface.

In my case, the following steps worked:
1. setup new document with routing "Soundflower (2ch)" to "Output (integrated)"
2. show the "Studio" drawer from Window menu
3. select usb audio as output (in my case called "UAC35568")
After changing the input channels, everything worked fine for me.
Here is a screenshot of how it looks in the end:

I have virtually the identical problem. AU Lab will output audio to my MacBook Pro built-in output (laptop speakers), but will not send output to my UX2 audio interface.
I'm using Soundflower as a virtual input as well.

Click and Drag, eh? How do you do that? I've got the same problem.

I'm not as smart as you but really nice directions! I'm trying to output AU Lab thru USB to my Lexicon Alpha and I can get sound through both the Alpha and the onboard iMac speakers but the eq only effects the onboard speakers.
I'm really only trying to get a global bass boost (much like the old loudness button) when I'm listening at low volume.
Any ideas would be helpful and sorry to be a pita to you all!

Hey all, first I am SOOO glad I found this as I was going nuts trying to figure this out.. The post from addressler is totally correct, however I just wanted to chime in that if you are using ARC 2 room correction plugin within AU Lab, you should not forget to change your DAW input/output to "Soundflower (2ch)" as well so your mixes are going through the plugin, but bouncing of your audio is not being affected. I am using AU Lab to listen to music, produce music in my DAW and correct my room acoustics so this is important.
Additionally, and perhaps this is an anomaly on my system, but I noticed that I had duplicate (slightly delayed) audio playing causing some phasing issues on playback when using soundflower. I fixed this by leaving all routing the same, but simply quitting Soundflower. I know it sounds crazy, but I quit soundflower and still have my Preferences audio ouput, Au Lab input, and DAW (Logic Pro 9) input AND output set to Soundflower (2 ch) and it works like a charm.
I have AU Lab set to open on startup. Only thing to remember is that when it comes time to track or use your interface to record into the DAW, you must switch the DAW input/output to Saffire (or interface of choice), otherwise your interface is merely your playback device (Soundcard) and does not offer any preamp input options.
Hope this helps someone!

I know it's late, but for everybody who wants to use soundflower and AULab:
Yes it works with the channels of the input ordered correctly.
I wouldn't recommend using these two tools. It produces a clicking in my speakers.
And I don't think that's healthy for them nor is it fun too hear.
Is there a clicking your speakers too? imaybe it's just laggy somehow? But it's even
there when no effect is active…
Hi. I have problems with my Scarlett 18i20, becasue when I launch Focusrite Control, it says “Hardware no connected”. I wrote to Focusrite support, but they didn’t give me the solution. My macbook (13” late 2011) detect the interface, and even more, it works with Garageband without problems, but with Focusrite Control doesn’t. At the first tiem I installed the software, High Sierra asked me to allow new hardware. After that I uninstalled the software and reinstalled, but High Sierra didn’t ask me again to allow. why? How can I uninstall and delete everything about this software? Anybody has or had the same problem? I‘m thinking in buying Logic Pro, but if it doesn’t work I’m going to buy another software in windows plarform where Focusrite Control works without problems. I hope not to do. I don’t like windows. Thanks in advance.

I use a Focusrite Pre thunderbolt interface with Logic Pro on a MacBook Pro (a 2017) and it works fine.
If you want to upgrade to Logic Pro from GarageBand I would suggest going ahead and purchase Logic, install it, then install the latest Focusrite software and drivers.
Make sure all your device settings are correctly set in Logic, and in the Focusrite control panel, if you’re not using an external clock source like a. MIDI controller (just recording audio directly into Logic), make sure Focusrite is set to “internal.”
If you’re using an external MIDI clock, then set Focusrite accordingly.
It should work fine.

Thanks Satellite, I saw with the help of a windows PC that my 18i20 is configured with internal clock, but when I try to us Focusrite Control on my macbook pro, It doesn't work. It continues to pop up "Hardware no connected". I don't know what can I do. At less, I can configure my interface on windows, and then open Garageband and use my interface without problems. But it isn't the best way to use my interface. With 2 laptops. If I were at least able to uninstall completely Focusrite Control and start from scratch. Thanks again Satellite77

The application should be able to connect to your interface as long as the correct driver is installed.
It sounds like you are using the interface in class compliant mode instead of using the dedicated driver. This might be why you are seeing the interface in GarageBand.
I would install the driver again then after restart go to System Preferences > Security and Privacy > General, and Allow the driver manually. This is a new security measure in High Sierra.

Thanks Cuauhtemoc!! I did what you told me, but the problem didn’t solve. I don’t know why, when I reinstall the software, my Mac doesn’t ask me for developer software permission again. I think when I uninstall focusrite control, actually the software doesn’t uninstall completely. I still cannot use focusrite control in my Mac.

Try deleting it manually.
You should be able to find the following files:
Delete all these files then reboot the computer.
Now try a new install, followed by a reboot, and once again followed by the Allow procedure.

Thanks Cuauhtémoc, I did what you told me, but allow button didn't appear. It will no doubt a nonsense, but I feel hopeless. I will keep on trying to solve the issue.

You can play sound through your computer’s internal speakers, your display’s speakers (if it has speakers), or through speakers, headphones or other equipment plugged into your Mac or available wirelessly through AirPlay.
On your Mac, choose Apple menu
> System Preferences, click Sound , then click Output.
Select the device you want to use in the list of sound output devices.
All sound output devices available to your Mac are listed, including the computer’s internal speakers, devices plugged into your computer’s sound port ( ), USB speakers and AirPlay devices.
For any device plugged into the computer’s sound port, choose Headphones.
Do any of the following to adjust your sound output settings:
Adjust the balance: Drag the Balance slider.
Adjust the volume: Drag the Output volume slider.
Stop sound output: Select the Mute tickbox.
Show a volume control in the menu bar: Select the “Show Sound in menu bar” tickbox so you can turn the volume up or down from anywhere. You can use the drop-down menu to choose whether to show Sound in the menu bar all the time or only when it’s active.
To set a separate volume for alert sounds, click Sound Effects.
Depending on your Mac and the devices you use, you may be able to set other volume options using the Audio MIDI Setup app.
If you use apps that have volume controls (for example, Music or iMovie), their settings can only be equal to or less than the computer’s output volume. They do not override the settings you choose in Sound preferences.
