Word cant print due to a problem with the printer setup что значит
very randomly users get the above error while trying to print from Word, Outlook and even Excel. when it happens i get them to close all office applications and open them back up. Without fail it prints fine and they are good again for a long time.
All users are have Windows 7 Ent 64bit and Office 2007 pro SP2 the printer models are HP2320 and HP4015 using the 'HP Universal Printing PCL 6' Driver. The printers are hosted on Windows Server 2008 Std SP2 and the error happens randomly to anyone using those printers.
I have googled this error and have yet to find a solution to this problem and the only thing i could do it to set the printer up with the printer specific driver but i would rather fix the issue than to work around it.

Thanks Graham, this would be a good option but they don't have a beta driver for windows 7 64 or Server 2008. did a quick search for beta win 7 drivers for HP printers but nothing.
another interesting fact is when this error occurs you can go to the printer under properties and still print a test page. to me that would indicate an issue with Word 2007 rather than the printer?
my guess is that when you open Word, outllook(using word), it loads the printer settings for your list of printers then for some reason its loosening connection to the printer and so loosing the setting so that when you print next time it gives your this error.
The test i did was, the user with the error clicked OK and then minimized Word. I then got them to print a test page from the printer properties that printed fine. I then got them to remove the printer and add it again and then maximized word and tried to print, this time there was no errors but the job was never set to the printer. after closing word and opening it back up it printed fine.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.
To better assist you - May I have the exact model name of the printer? Refer to this document for steps to find the product details. Do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.
While you respond to that, download and install HP Print and Scan Doctor, it is a Windows tool to fix printer issues.
If the issue still persists, try re-installing the printer driver -
1. In the search box, type and open "Uninstall a Program".
2. Look for HP Printer software.
3. Right-click to uninstall.
4. In the search box, type and open “Devices and printers”.
5. In the Devices and Printers, look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose “Delete” or “Remove Device”.
6. Open the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.
7. Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”).
8. Click on the "Drivers" tab.
9. Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click “Remove” at the bottom.
11. Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows.
12. Close Devices and Printers Once the software and drivers are removed.
13. Restart the computer.
14. Download and install the software and drivers from here.
15. Click on the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

If you have tried printing other documents and the issue persists, let us reinstall the printer driver.
Clean reinstallation of Pre-installed HP drivers
- In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
- Select your HP Printer
- Select Uninstall
- In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
- In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose ‘Delete’ or ‘Remove Device’
- Open up the run command with the “Windows key + R” key combo.
- Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)
- Click on the “Drivers” tab
- Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
- Select Ok
- Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
- Close Devices and Printers, restart the computer.
Click here to download the HP Full-featured driver.
Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and follow the on-screen instructions.
I have tried everything and everything says the printer is fine. It prints from other computers but once I updated my windows 10 I was unable to print and keep receiving the above message.

I'm Greg, an installation specialist, 10 year Windows MVP, and Volunteer Guardian Moderator here to help you.
Rather than spending too much more time fiddling I'd simply Clean Install the printer which always works, lasts longer and actually saves time:
1) Power up the printer, if wired unplug it's USB cable from PC.
2) Go to Settings>Apps>Apps and Features to find and Uninstall any printer software.
3) Go into Device Manager reached by right clicking the Start button, from View tab Show Hidden Devices, open Printer, on Driver tab if present Uninstall the driver. If prompted include the full software package as well. Then do the same for any other printers listed that you do not regularly use.
4) Now type Control Panel in Start Search, open CP, choose Icon View. In Control Panel open Devices and Printers, right click printer to delete Printer and any scanner or fax of the same name. Restart PC.
5) Go to the printer model’s Support Downloads webpage to download and install the latest full software package. Now is also the time to check for any newer printer firmware to install which matters a lot.
6) Extract Printer software, right click Setup file to Run as Administrator. Follow the setup screens closely as you install the software. For USB it should prompt when to plug in the printer.
I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and keep me posted. If you'll wait to rate whether my post helped you, I will keep working with you until it's resolved.
