Warner Bros. выпустит 17 крупных премьер 2021 года сразу в кинотеатрах и на HBO Max.

Так, похоже, студия решила «уничтожить» разрыв в прокате между релизами своих картин в кинозалах и на носителях.

Картины будут доступны на HBO Max в течение месяца, начиная со дня их премьеры в кино. Причём в отличие от истории с Disney+, где подписчики доплачивали за «Мулан», все местные премьеры обладатели сервиса получат бесплатно.

Как отреагируют на такое решение владельцы кинотеатров — непонятно. Warner Bros. отмечает, что план касается лишь периода пандемии, но последствия такого решения могут повлиять на весь календарь фильмов следующего года.

В ролике, кстати, можно увидеть новый логотип грядущей экранизации «Смертельной битвы».
