Its master mode, has 4 classes with no hybrid, and its on the For The Worthy seed.
Whats For The Worthy? The next step in difficulty of Master Mode, strongly recommended that you have a good chunk of experience in the game because this will be brutal.
If you want to join, send a friend request and say what class you want to be, in case you want to be a summoner/mage, you are allowed to bring a finch staff/spark wand, your character MUST be brand new and softcore.
Hardcore x Master Mode x For The Worthy is an extremely brutal challenge, yet very rewarding.

Exploration [ ]
Go underground and look for Underground Cabins as the cabins can sometimes contain Magic Mirrors or Hermes Boots. Magic mirrors will be useful for getting out of tight situations, and also serves as fast travel to your spawn. However, note that Recall Potions have a much faster use time, which may be essential in escaping death. After looting the underground, go out to explore the world but try not to stumble into the Crimson/Corruption or Jungle as those biomes will kill the player very fast. Once players have scoped out their world a bit they should go mining some more, as they can find Platinum or Gold. Spelunker Potions or Spelunker Glowsticks will speed up the process. Getting as much Defense as possible should be a priority.

Evil biomes [ ]
- A single world will incorporate elements of both evil biomes during generation:
- Both evil biomes generate, each on opposite sides of the world.
- Both the Corruption and CrimsonBiome Chests are present in the Dungeon. and Crimson Hearts share a single counter. Only the first of either will be a guaranteed firearm and every third total will spawn its boss.
- Both Demon Altars and Crimson Altars appear in their respective chasms.
- However, only one type of altar will generate in the world outside of their chasms, regardless of the biome where they appear. The type of altar depends on which world evil is chosen when creating the world.
- The world icon in the world selection menu shows a tree infected with both world evils.
- The chosen world evil in the world creation menu will be the "main" world evil on the first day. Each dawn, the "main" world evil, used for processing otherwise permanent world-specific evil biome related mechanics, switches. This will impact the following mechanics:

- Both the Dungeon and the Jungle Temple are painted brown, deep sky blue, green, lime, purple, red, or yellow; and both feature spikes that extend three blocks high instead of two.
- The surface entrance to the Dungeon is completely removed. The Dungeon instead generates underneath a "dead" Living Tree, with leaves painted brown to differentiate it from other Living Trees.
- The Old Man is placed in a pre-generated house underground in the Dungeon, making it harder to fight Skeletron.
- Since the Dungeon point (the leftmost of the two tiles that the Old Man stands on at night) is located inside the Old Man's underground house, the Cultists also spawn in there.
- This makes it possible to obtain a Water Bolt as well as encounter the Bound Mechanic prior to defeating Skeletron.
- Furthermore, a locked Gold Chest is almost always generated in the entrance room and it will always contain a Muramasa. This is not unique to the drunk world seed, but is an artifact of the way that Dungeon loot is generated (see Dungeon § Notes for more details).
Unaffected world generation aspects [ ]
While drunk world generation generally causes otherwise per-world counterparts to coexist upon generation or through other methods, there remain some generation aspects that appear to be unaffected:
- As mentioned previously, altar generation outside of chasms will always correspond to one world evil, rather than both generating as one would expect.
- Not all types of moss will generate in the same world. Verify
While generating [ ]
- Generation descriptions and tips become random numbers that change every tick (except when " Placing traps ").
- The background shows a Glowing Mushroom biome, with clouds that resemble Redigit's head. The moon moves backwards and resembles a smiley face (see Trivia). Once the world finishes generating, it is possible to go back to the main menu with these effects still visible.
- The outline of the progress bar rapidly flashes between Corruption and Crimson.
- The Console Title music plays, instead of the normal Title Screen theme.
- The Terraria logo spins out and disappears along with the version number.
The Start [ ]
You start off with nothing but a Copper Shortsword, a Copper Axe, and a Copper Pickaxe. The first thing you should start doing is getting enough wood to build your first basic house, also be careful as the trees in For the Worthy sometimes drop bombs when being mined. You should stay well away from any slimes as slimes will kill you very quickly. It is also worth noting that this world will have explosive bunnies that will one-shot you easily, if attacked. Once you have completed your first basic house, you should craft a wooden sword and then craft and equip wooden armor. However, you should not trash your Copper Shortsword, especially if it is a Tin world as you will need it later to craft the Zenith.
For the rest of the day, chop trees and replant acorns for a sufficient supply of wood, but exercise caution since trees can drop lit bombs. When nighttime hits, the surface will become extremely dangerous so it is advisable to go mining. The best way to do this is to dig a 2-tile wide hole. You may want to place platforms or ropes every so often so you have the option to get back up when needed. Remember to keep tunnels well lit, and if you have spare wood, craft and place walls in the tunnel to stop enemies from spawning there. Should you encounter enemies, it is recommended to avoid taking any damage because enemies can kill you in one hit. If the enemy is too strong, you may consider blocking off the section it is in. Keep mining until day and remember that pots can spawn lit bombs.
When daylight hits create some more simple houses for NPCs. All that is required is a wooden box with a chair, work bench, torch, and door. Afterwards, work on making a Hellevator but do not go down into cavern levels since enemy spawn rates are greatly increased there. Look for Iron or Lead as you can then make better armor, take all Life crystals if found but only use one for the time being as using more can allow Blood Moons, Eye of Cthulhu spawning, and Slime Rains to happen (Slime rains may occur anyway however they will be far less common). Upon reaching 120 health, if there is a suitable house, the Nurse NPC can spawn.
Eye of Cthulhu [ ]
So, once you have killed King Slime you have hopefully obtained the mount and the hook, the Royal Gel is a 100% from the treasure bag; so now there's no need worry about the slimes anymore. Now, use all the life crystals you have obtained, then get a lot of platforms and make 5-6 straight lines short enough for you to jump from each platform yet tall enough to dodge the attacks. Make sure it is around 200-400 platforms in length. You should be using the same weapons as before. Once you get the Eye of Cthulhu into its third form, watch out for the dash attacks as it can kill you extremely fast if you lack an average amount of health and defense. Just keep running and dodging the attacks. Be sure to keep attacking no matter what! Once you have defeated it, it will drop Demonite or Crimtane Ore and the Shield of Cthulhu. With the newly obtained Shield of Cthulhu, you can now dodge attacks from enemies, and deal damage if you dodge towards them!
Eater of Worlds/Brain of Cthulhu [ ]
Go to The Crimson/Corruption and then make a huge arena above ground for Eater of Worlds/Brain of Cthulhu once you have made a Bloody Spine/ Worm Food go to your arena and summon the boss. Make sure to keep your distance from the boss and make sure to watch out for the vile spit from the Eater of Worlds, remember to continually hit the boss at all times. If in a Crimson world, you may use a flail to defeat the Creepers. Once you have reached the Brain's second phase switch to your ranged weapon of your class. If melee use a yo-yo, flail, boomerang, or any other ranged weapon for melee. If ranger use the most damaging gun or bow you have. For Corruption worlds. Be sure to have an arena that is 200 blocks wide, and when you fight Eater of Worlds be sure to stay on a platform above it. When above the worm use your best ranged weapons, the same weapons as Brain of Cthulhu. once it starts splitting into different segments make sure to switch to a weapon that has multiple projectiles (For example, prior to 1.4.1 a quad barrel shotgun may have been used for ranger). After you are done with the Eater of Worlds/ Brain Of Cthulu pick up the scales or brain tissue and make their respective armor and pickaxe.
Exploration [ ]
We should be safe enough to go exploring out into the unknown for a bit. Remember, If any mobs come nearby, Block yourself off. Don’t go into the jungle, as it is a easy way to massively fail this challenge. Don’t forget to also go underground as you can easily find red potions over there. Although one thing, DONT USE IT UNTIL BOSSFIGHTS (Unless you are literally about to die.).
Now we have a choice here. You can either go for skeletron THEN queen bee or Queen bee THEN skeletron. Personally I would do queen bee then skeletron, but it’s your choice. And it’s your call for your timing. Just do it eventually though.
If your fighting this before skeletron, its harder but still possible. You will (want but yeah) need a rail track system with campfires below the rails to heal you along with some heart lanterns if you can get extras but if you dont have max health at this point, I would go farming for it by this point cause the bosses can become a one shot if you dont get good armor and health points. If your fighting this after, use the bees knees. And farm the materials for a chest full of arrows. You will need it, believe me. get the Fastest Minecart you can get at the moment. This is because if you go at max speed, you can delete his arms (Not Confirmed, use this at your own risk). The more safe way is to make a bridge and get hermes boots. Then put campfires on it. Make it like 2000-5000 blocks big. Then use the shield of Cthulu to move back to the other side and not get one shoted by his arms if you somehow hit the end of the bridge. Once you defeat him, DO NOT ENTER THE DUNGEON. It may seem safe but believe me. There is going to be a lot of mobs down there that you probably dont want to deal with. Its more risk than it is a reward. ALTHOUGH, they do less damage at the moment, as I said earlier, Do this at your own risk.
Queen bee most of the time is a piece of cake but with the bonus speed and all of the bonus damage it can do, you are going to want to be careful. Bring potions. It will do a lot later on, believe me. I would make the arena for it huge if you can. Add honey to the lowest platform in the arena. Add campfires, and if you can, heart lanterns. I would personally be super careful as she can easily end you in one shot and make you rage. Use the Shield of Cthulhu to dodge his attacks. When you beat him, farm him until you get 1 and a half stacks of beenades, you'll thank me later.
If you have not already, prepare for the fight. Remember the beenades from last section? This is where they come in handy. If you throw them, they drop bees, and if you throw the beenade at the wall, it does damage, a ton of damage. This could be used to kill the wall. I would even go for two stacks if I were you, if you run out, its a certain death sentence. Once you believe its long enough, summon the wall. There is not much I can do once you start it so be careful. If you pull off beating this boss, open the bag and get your demon heart. It will give you another accessory slot.
Welcome to hardmode! Now ANY mob will one shot you with even the best pre hardmode tank setups, but it will be a whole lot harder to kill mobs, especially if you are doing multiplayer.
If I were you, I would get a bug net, get as much bait as you can, and fish for the bars instead. This will make you a lot more safe. Also, if you didnt get the nights edge already, get it now. It will be a life saver later on for the terra blade. Once you get enough loot from fishing, I have a move that could probably be amazing. You could make a rod of discord farm. Where they will teleport and fall into the lava where you are right below and if they drop it, you will pick it up. You dont have to do this, and plus, its kinda risky but its just a idea. If you dont want to make it, then I would get wings. It will do a lot of good later on for escaping.
So I would set up all of the arenas before doing this, its better that way to be safe. Skeletron prime, make platform arena, for the destroyer, make a bridge with blocks and two platforms to shoot through, and the twins, platform arena. Place Campfires around the arena.
If you want to beat the mechanical bosses, you gotta prepare of course. Get the best armor you can because next boss, it will be queen slime, this boss is optional, although, I would completely reccomend you fight this boss as it gives you very overpowered armor, the armor good enough to kill the mechanical bosses. You may need to kill it 2-4 times for the full armor set, it still will pay off in the end and thats what matters, right?
Queen Slime Form One
This could be one of the hardest boss fights yet, as getting hit once by a attack will most likely kill you. If this is the case, you need some kind of movement strategy. The strategy to use is the minecart bumper strategy. Use the best cart you can get, then make a minecart track maybe about 100-200 blocks long, then bumper each part. Place campfires as always cause if you do end up getting hit and you somehow survive, this will heal you. Fight it at day, as fighting it at night will make it so you cant see some attacks and as we all know, you are bound to die if you cant see certain attacks. When you beat it (if you beat it), open the treasure bag, use the contents, and repeat this until you get the full set.
So we have armor, we have weapons, we should fight the bosses now. Use the arenas to your advantage. By the way, try to just avoid going near the twins as there is nothing you can really do about getting hit by it and technically it is the only escape. If you end up killing the three bosses, make the amazing Mechanical Minecart.

If you have gotten this far without cheats, you are like the 0.000001% of people who can make it this far. The challenges for the end are going to test whether this was all for a massive failure or a win. If the arena is huge, with campfires, and heart lanterns, your ready. The planterra will most likely one shot you so stay away from him at all costs. Use a ranged weapon. The first phase should be a peace of cake, but the second phase will prove to be a lot harder. Ranged things are shooting at you, and a lot more stuff. Remember to keep your distance at all costs. If you get low, just magic mirror. If you beat this, open the bag and use the contents to your advantage.
This will prove to be easy but getting in, will take a miracle to survive. If you get low, box yourself in and wait until you are at full to continue. Destroy any traps you see, they could mean the end of your run. Loot any chests you see as well, they are quite overpowered to be quite honest with you. If you make it in the room, destroy all traps, make a campfire arena, and just kill it with a ranged item. Watch out for the lasers though.
You know, I think it might be best to farm loot before taking on the cultists. We have a few optional bosses left like the empress of light, duke fishron. We also have quite a bit of events to do. Like the martain event, pirate invasion, but martain Saucers were buffed when 1.4 was added. The lasers go through walls.
Secret world seeds are world seeds which have been discovered as secret easter eggs that generate worlds with strange or unique features. Unlike regular world seeds, which affect only the usual world structure, secret seeds can produce worlds with characteristics that would not be attainable through normal world generation, i.e., they can affect the game's mechanics while playing in that world. For instance, they may change enemy statistics and behavior, item drops, graphics, theme music and more.
Secret seeds use unique world-generating mechanics that differ from normal seeds. Using a secret seed overrides the normal use of seeds as a source of randomness and two worlds created via the same secret seed will not necessarily be identical.

Not the bees [ ]

This seed references the NOT THE BEES! meme which originated from the 2006 horror film The Wicker Man. It generates a world dominated by bee-themed biomes and bee-related items and structures.
- Most of the world is replaced with the Jungle biome, with Hive and Honey Blocks found in abundance. See below for a full list of replaced tiles.
- As a result, the player will spawn in the Jungle biome, as opposed to normal gameplay.
- The time for generating this seed is also extraordinarily long. This might be because of the fact that the world is generated first (as normal) and then converted to the terrain thereafter.
Replaced tiles [ ]
- All water is replaced with honey, unless on Floating Islands, in the Dungeon, or in the Cavern layer underneath the Ocean biomes.
- All forest trees, Living Wood, Leaf Blocks and vines are converted into their respective Jungle variants, unless on Floating Islands.
- Rarely, parts of the world that spawn above the minimum level needed for Floating Islands will also not be converted, leaving hilltops of dirt above a line.
- Because of this, a massive Mushroom Biome will appear in the lava layer of where the original Jungle was.
- Likewise with Ebonsand, Ebonsandstone, Hardened Ebonsand, Purple Ice, Crimsand, Crimsandstone, Hardened Crimsand and Red Ice blocks.
- Likewise, only Hardened Sand and Sandstone Blocks within the Ocean biomes are replaced with Hive blocks.
Excluded content [ ]
- The Oasis, glowing moss biomes, and Spider Caves will never be generated.
- This also means the Stylist will never spawn, making the Bestiary impossible to complete.

Goblin Army [ ]
After the king slime you should have 300-400 max health and some pretty decent gear. The first step is going to the edge of the world and hunting goblin scouts until you have at least 10 tattered cloth, after heading back to base or using a magic mirror/ recall potion craft a goblin battle standard with the 10 tattered cloth and 5 of any wood at a loom (do not use the battle standard yet). The next step is to make a pit 5 tiles deep and 27 tiles long (put it near world spawn/ near your base) then put 3 buckets of lava into the bottom, next tunnel a 3 tile high area under the lava leaving only a 1 tile thick line between your head and the lava . Next, blocking up all entrances to your base and npc houses is the best idea. At this point you're ready to use the battle standard which summons the army, after the army has been summoned; stand in the tunnel under the lava and block up the entrance. If built correctly the goblins should fall into the lava and die allowing you to pick up drops such as coins from under the lava, you can run back and forth to dodge magic attacks shot by the goblin sorcerers. After 120 goblins have been killed; exit the tunnel and finish off the remaining enemies, then put blocks across the pit so you can safely walk over it (after skeletron, it is best to wire this up to a lever with actuators for later use to toggle the pit on and off). Do not get rid of this trap setup as it is surprisingly effective for for other events like blood moon, pirate invasion, frost legion, and solar eclipse. After defeating the goblin army search the underground and cavern area for the goblin tinkerer, when found and spoken to buy the rocket boots and tinkerer's workshop, then head home. Make sure to have an empty npc house for the goblin tinkerer to move into. Once home place the tinkerer's workshop and use it to craft spectre boots out of the newly bought rocket boots and Hermes boots (providing you have found and located them), then if able to craft the lightning boots out of the anklet of the wind, aglet and spectre boots do so as they provide a massive speed boost which is even more useful with wings in hardmode.
King Slime [ ]
Material Gathering and/or Farm creating [ ]
At a few points in your playthrough you will encounter an item you want that is rare or that you require money to acquire. And there is one main way to get it, farming. So this is where the lava trap you used for the goblin army comes in useful, once a blood moon occurs, if you are above ground you just sit there and wait. Now it depends on what item you want. If the item is dropped by enemies from the granite or marble cave enemies then set up the same type of farm there. The same thing applies to any enemy in any biome. just set up a farm and then go afk. Now for another type of farm. Once you have gotten some gems it would be advised to go underground clear out an area around 400 tiles in length and around 13 tiles tall. fill the entire floor with stone then plant some gem corns (crafted with 1 of any gem and an acorn) space each gem sapling 3 tiles apart just like normal trees and then wait for them to grow (it is advised to afk at the lava pit farms while they grow). once the gem corns have grown full length go underground and harvest them, once you have harvested them add new gem corns (what you should do is focus on diamond and ruby gem corns as they sell for the highest price thus bringing in more money) and then go to the desert and get sand. make glass with the glass and gems and then make stained glass and sell it.

Underworld [ ]
- The Ash Block ground of the Underworld is speckled with 1-block-sized pockets of lava. These won't hurt the player as of 1.4.
- Digging up Ash Blocks will sometimes trigger other nearby Ash Blocks to fall (be affected by gravity), similar to Silt. This behavior is closely related to that of Cracked Dungeon Bricks.
- All Ruined Houses are made of Hellstone Bricks.
- All Demons are replaced with Voodoo Demons. It makes completing the Bestiary impossible in these worlds.
Bosses [ ]
Many bosses and/or their minions are either larger or smaller than normal:
- Larger: King Slime, Eater of Worlds, Brain of Cthulhu and its Creepers, Queen Bee, Skeletron, The Hungry, Destroyer and its Probes, Skeletron Prime and Plantera.
- Smaller: Wall of Flesh, The Twins and Golem.
As a general rule, bosses and their minions are affected by the same contact damage and health buffs reported above for regular enemies, while damage from other attacks is not affected. However, there are some exceptions. For instance:
- The Eye of Cthulhu's melee damage in its second form is unchanged.
- The Wall of Flesh has an additional 1.5x health multiplier applied after the regular for the worthy bonus, for a total of 25,200 maximum health in Expert mode and 28,560 in Master mode.
- The Lunatic Cultist's damage from Ancient Light and Prophecy's End is increased, despite them being ranged attacks. 's damage from Detonating Bubble, Sharknado and Cthulunado is increased, despite them being ranged attacks.
- The Moon Lord's damage from any attack, including melee, is unchanged.
All bosses (with the exception of Duke Fishron and the Moon Lord, whose size is also not altered) receive certain changes to their AI:

Upgrades [ ]
So now you have a steady stream of money coming in you should get upgraded tools. So start off by turning all demonite/crimtane ore obtained from the eye of Cthulhu into bars and craft 2 things, the axe and fishing rod out of their respective materials. For weapons craft either light’s bane/blood butcherer (swords) or malaise/artery (yoyos) or maybe even both if you want to, another option is to head into the jungle and collect jungle spores and stingers to craft a thorn chakram and amazon. As for ranger stick with the bows crafted from demonite/crimtane bars and we’ll get onto mage soon, but with summoner you can’t change much quite yet. Next is to use all of that cash to (hopefully) reforge your weapon to legendary (melee), unreal (ranger) and mythical (mage), then reforge all accessories until you have warding on each one for a large boost of defense now you have more defense make sure you have full platinum armor. Now for the mage upgrades you want to go into the corruption/crimson then go into the chasms/heart and find and break 2 shadow orbs/crimson hearts (DO NOT BREAK 3 YET AS IT WILL SUMMON THE EATER OF WORLDS/ BRAIN OF CTHULHU)
