Darkest dungeon секретная комната

(maxed scouting) So I am leveling up some low level guys on veteran, and so i just thought it would be fun to go all scouting gear to guarantee finding the secret room. My scouting is around the 160% to 185% depending on the light that's on. bringing the chance to find the secret room to 80% to
95% yet the past 2 dungeons, i didn't find any secret rooms.
Is this just bad luck or not all dungeons have a secret room?

Antiquarian gets extra gold, but the nerf you apply is much larger, and you aren't getting nearly as much extra gold if you manage to supply yourself well. In addition Trinkets are very powerful, but not as powerful as a 4th character that actually makes an impact. Also you aren't getting really rare trinkets out of the Antiquarian. Also, the Antiquarian isn't a GUARANTEED 20k+ run for EVERY run. Unless you raise up 6 identical antiquarians, you won't be able to run 70 consecutive runs where you're pulling enough gold that you'll never run out.
Also, by your logic Dark Runs would be exploiting the game, because you make the game harder for more gold. And that's. just not the case.
17 мая. 2018 в 17:25Hmm you're saying one more character is more powerful than trinkets, i disagree.
Consider that you can get up 40-50% extra damage per character from items alone. At 50% which is about the maximum possible, x4 that's a whole 2 other characters worth of damage that you bring with you. Practically a 6 man squad.
Antiquarian in comparison only loses you one character, but you can still uber gear on the other 2, with extra damage that's 1.5 character that you're bringing so it's still more than a full squad.
Natually you are most likely to run antiquarian or full scout gear on veteran levels (we're not talking champion levels here) so those extra scouts or damage make a lot of sens.
Antiquarian gives you 2 items that stack heavily and are worth a lot, on a full medium or long run thats a whole lot more money than 10k, and guaranteed since we're saying not every dungeon has a secret room.
So by the same logic, if guaranteed secret rooms are too OP at 10k, then antiquarian is much worse in term of income when you run the numbers.
By the way, running 2 antiquarians on veteran is still very easy and very fast dungeon running, just gotta equip the team for damage (no accuracy needed on veteran when you bring level 5+ heroes) and it's a real breeze.

Personally, one Anti is enough fo me to make well over 25K without the secret rooms. I did walk away 40K+ richer in a nasty Warrens Secret room Explore. It's not just the secret rooms with Anti, every interactable that can give you something will benefit.
10K from secret rooms needed to be toned down a lot and the fact that it's rare to find them now makes it fun for me to find different avenues for loot (Though, the hood makes that a no brainer as well).
So, RH, good work in making us work for it and giving the rats an iron bar to play with their cheese.
17 мая. 2018 в 21:30Yeah, given all the trinkets in the game, the damage you can do (at the cost of MASSIVE stress penalties) is extreme, and once you have those trinkets, you are basically set for life. Like farming for guns in a shoot n loot game. But consider that most people who are playing through the game DO NOT have their favorite selection of OP trinkets.
In addition, if you can bring level 5+ characters into veteran dungeons, you're playing on Radiant or are somehow getting the level restriction event consecutively. In the normal game you can't do that. Veteran dungeons can only be entered by level 4 or less.
In Radiant, things cost less. a LOT less, you get much more Xp from quests, you get more dodge from the light level and generally easier combats, you get double the stress heal from the town, better recruits from the stagecoach, less upgrade restrictions, much more mastery, town events happen much more often, building upgrades cost less, you resell things for more money, and you can use the same characters for multiple stages of the Darkest Dungeon.
That is, I'm not surprised that you aren't having trouble with the game at that point. It's normal for you to be able to rake in the cash with every expedition.
18 мая. 2018 в 10:05Yes I am playing on radiant for my first run. With limited play time i am still not finished with that one, my second one will be normal + DLCs.
Hmm i almost never get stressed since i always bring a stress healer, and use the camping as late as possible to remove any stress. I don't feel like the reduced cost helps as much either, since i have so much ancestor whatchacallthem i could have bought all building upgrades twice over (i am around week 100), and most of them are not needed anyways since i don't need 60% of the current upgrades, the only ones needed are the hero generation, skills and gear.
I play always at 0-25 light even on champion, so i don't feel like i am taking advantage of the extra dodge and other advantages from the light strength. I am still seeing enemy crits that one hit heroes, so i don't feel like combat is significantly easier than other modes, i might be wrong. But looking at the wiki, enemies have the same stats only exception is stagian mode, whatever that is. Since i am using low light, i don't think fights on radiant are as trivial as you make it sound. (Again with the exception of stygian.)
I only go to veteran mode to level up my heroes for the caretaker objectives, never for gold or any other reason. Most of the time there isn't even a veteran map available, as 99% of my heroes are at level 5-6.
I don't spoil either and go discover the content for myself, the only exception being curios so i know what to bring. So i don't rely on optimal teams for specific bosses and things like that, i find the strategies the hard way through experimentation.
If we get more xp on radiant, that might be a downside, since on higher difficulty you want to stay low level longer so you can farm the easier normal / veteran maps before you're forced to go champion because all your heroes are not too leveled up for the lower ones, so that might not be such a big advantage for radiant.
I didn't know you could bring the same characters to the DD, i only did one so far. But i have enough of a roster that it's not needed, i can even lost a lot of teams and be OK. Not a huge advantage imo either.
My money is constantly between 20k and 60k, with rare peeks at 100k so not swimming in that either. I am doing a lot of unnecessary things for achievements and my own experiments like collecting all the items even those that are not worth buying "just in case i find a situation where a specific trinket is needed for a specific strategy".
18 мая. 2018 в 11:5020k and 60k with maxxed out buildings (and enough heirlooms to buy all the upgrades twice) by week 100 isn't really a thing on the normal difficulty. Again, imagine that all your costs are double, your stress heals are less effective, etcetera. You end up burning far more money. Building upgrades cost more as well. Taking higher levels into lower level dungeons effectively trivialize the dungeon as well. Your characters take around half the stress damage they normally would, they can stress heal much more effectively, they end fights faster (and enemies can't resist as well), etcetera.
What you described for your teams is standard practice in Darkest difficulty, because if you didn't have a stress healer, all your characters would end up with 100-200 stress at the end of every dungeon, and you'd get to burn 16+ grand a week stress healing your team. Especially when enemies stress damage your team for 30-40 stress a turn, sometimes under stealth.
For example, without cost reductions (because I can't afford them, level upgrades are more important), gearing up a hero from level 0 to level 3 will burn some 10 grand JUST for the weapons and armor. The moves cost another 13 grand, the camping skills are another 7. And that's for level 3. My bar without upgrades will heal 45 stress a week for 1000 gold, with max being 70 stress for 700 gold (for apprentice heroes. double the cost for champions)
So 30 grand a character for 4 characters. 120 grand per team for a team of level 3s. Also assumes you aren't building your characters for multiple roles (only picking 4 moves to use and 4 camping skills)
And no. More XP is good because you don't ever have to worry about losing a level 5 team and having nothing but champion missions with no one even close to qualified to deal with them. On the normal difficulty, it IS possible to just get a ton of champion missions without having anyone of that rank to do those missions. So yay wasting time recycling your missions and stressing your characters out trying to get missions that you actually have a chance of completing. And while the game DOES guarantee an apprentice mission, you may not have apprentices to do that mission. If that's the case you either throw someone in and stress them out for that week, or you discard a team of veterans to grab a team of apprentices off the stagecoach (which then have to be fixed for 15 grand a piece, depending on whether or not you have multiple experienced recuits upgrades by that point)
Oh also. If you're sitting at low light on champion on Darkest, an enemy stress attack can and will stress you for 60+ stress damage if you're rocking the more powerful trinkets, and they'll hit you with 2 or 3 of those attacks per round. A stress healer can't outheal the damage done after a few battles unless you bring teams designed to stunlock, and those teams eat more regular damage than others (and have a much higher chance of dying because yay extending combats) You also have a relatively high chance of fighting minibosses like The Collector and The Shambler.

Секретные комнаты всегда будут содержать уникальный объект: Древний артефакт, который будет содержать небольшое количество ценных вещей или, если его открыть ключом, предоставит несколько предметов, похожих на те, которые можно получить при победе над Коллекционером.
