For anyone having the issue with the game not loading due to PhysxLoader.dll missing or your physx drivers being "too new", there is a legitimate fix. When you go to Nvidia's site to download Physx, at the bottom of the "Highlights" for the current version you will see this note: "Note: For games that use SDK versions before 2.7.1 the PhysX Legacy Installer must also be installed. These are games that were released around the end of 2007 or earlier. (AGEIA titles) Examples of these games include Cell Fact.

overall, a bad experience.
coming from WOTS3, I didn't expected much from a sequel. they just need fix some issue with the 3rd game.
and it's gold, but no, they massed up real bad on WOTS4.
1st, the combat, it was the highlight of WOTS3, a footse sword fighting game, so you either push or neutral on attack, pull or neutral on defence. push beat neutral but lose to pull, neutral beats pull, that's the mixup game, they use a icon to tell you what's going on. not great, but serviceable, they just need different animation for each push and pull.
but in WOTS4, now it's p n p in everything, and no icon, pure RNG, because still no different
animation in each input.
and the game just play out random, you can be knock back try to push some time and throw around some time. the AI just did whatever, and input read you, on defence is the same, engaging in both way is random.
it just not fun. some style is super effect against the AI, but you just want play some other style. combat along almost turn me off, and I just finished WOTS3.
WOTS3s combat was not balance but it OK for a single player experience.
and the weapons. they removed weight on weapon, so what's the point of a short blade? and the ATK cap is 500. in harakiri, every NPC is running with an odachi style blade, yah, the devs knew longblade just better.
last the crafting system. it's garbage, you waste time roll the dice at the blacksmith for parts
and a sword with perk is mandatory.
all and all, this dev team's main goal is to waste players time. it's apparent in WOTS3s job RNG location. in 4, you waste o lot time on crafting menu, yeh, on menu.
not surprise there's no follow up from this one, if this is the third game, there would be no fourth one.
why it's bad? because the core gameplay is garbage, combat rework is junk.
