Как установить sol assetto corsa
- PPFilter: all _Sol. filters, set [GLARE] BLUR to 0.0, to prevent fps loss.
- files: added "Sol 2.x track config parameters.pdf", to describe the different parameters, to control Sol 2 via track configs.
- files: added some trouble shooting in "Sol 2.1 install guide.pdf"
Bug fixes, improvements, new sky preset, new features
Sol is being further developed with a new sky environment. With this, there are only procedural generated clouds. Sol 1.5.x marks the state, where 2d clouds and a modified base of 3d clouds are used. So i decided to split the releases into Sol 1.5.x, a final version and the beginning of a new sky development - Sol 1.6 and higher.
With this release, you can switch those two branches easily in CSP/weatherFX. So please read the guide to install it correctly.
You can use the installation guides from 1.5.4 + 1.6.
Changelog of Sol 1.6.1 / 1.5.5

PPFilter update, small tweaks
This update has a focus on the PostProcessing filters. There are 4 PPFilters coming with Sol:
1. "__Sol"
This is a basic filter, where almost all Sol picture improvements and effects are deactivated. It should be used for compatibility issues or for testing content.
2. "__Sol_ACC"
It tries to replicate the look of Assetto Corsa Competizione. It uses a modified but standard autoexposure. So the brightness can be controlled with Page-UP/DOWN keys. Interior and exterior AE-levels are matched.
3. "__Sol_Extra"
This filter has warm colors and nearly all extra Sol effects are activated. It uses Sol's auto-calibrating autoexpousure. It could be described as eye-candy-filter.
4. "__Sol_HC"
HC stands for "high contrast". This filter uses a different tonemapping mode. The mode "Linear (saturation)" is able to clip with high levels. This filter is trying to emulate camera effects. It also uses Sol's auto-calibrating autoexpousure.

delete the AC folder in documents, this will reset AC back to first time start and then reconfigure it again and don't add any mods- load to track, if successful then add SOL again via CM and then see if it works- you're going to have to kinda work out through a process of elimination what mod is causing the issue.

Sol does not bring rain into AC.
CSP is doing this. Actually rainFX is in development.
RainFX previews are available at Ilja Jusupov's Patreon account.
Sol 2.1 has an advanced control of rainFX already integrated.
For more information, maybe you like to watch this video .
Also lower the resolution to 1024x1024. There is no big difference visually, but it gains much more fps. For those weather effects, you need to set the cloud's render method to 2 in Sol Config app. Then the advanced skysim weather code is running.
Its actually not an error, its a feature, called "seasonal adjustments". With CSP it is possible to change the track's textures to other colors. There is a problem with CSP versions between 1.30 and 1.38, so the textures looks much darker than they should look. This is fixed with CSP version 1.39.
CM just uses the current date for the race session. If its wintertime where the track is located, textures will be changed to look like they have a snow cover.
Solution:
Change the date to summertimes
In CM's Drive menu:
or directly in game:
Open the Sol_weather app and change the date:
__Sol
The default Sol filter. You can change all Sol parameters. This filter has a static exposure, which is adapted for daytimes. The filter has a neutral color balance.
__Sol_Extra
The filter tries to have an optimal exposure for all situations. It uses a custom Autoexposure. CSP’s emissive and bounced lights are dynamically optimized for day and night light. The filter also adapts the color balance for different light situations.
__Sol_Extra_Reinhard
A clone of __Sol_Extra. This filter works with the Reinhard tone mapping. The goal is to have less contrast in mid and high tones.
__Sol_FakeHDR
A filter for very bright monitors. It uses SDR dynamic and emulates some HDR effects.
__Sol_color_neutral_Linear
This filter represents the colors with an accuracy of 98%, if a sunangle of 45° is used. It uses the linear tone mapping to achieve this accuracy. Therefore, bright colors will clip.
__Sol_color_neutral_Sensitometric
This filter uses sensitometric tone mapping. I realized a proper gamma to be color-neutral for a wide range. In high tones (>220) it will compress, this prevents clipping.
Please install Sol manually, as it is described in the guide!
