Lego minifigures captain america
Small figures, big price-tags. These rare Lego minifigures are fetching unbelievable sums, and most were given away for free!
Lego sure has come a long way since we were younger. No more than 15 years ago, the only Lego sets you could buy were Pirates, Space and City. Now, with every new superhero movie comes a flurry of new sets in the likenesses of all your favorite characters, from Rocket Raccoon to Captain Cold, from Calendar Man to M.O.D.O.K. (seriously, who ever thought M.O.D.O.K. would have a minifigure?) With all these new sets comes the collectors market, and for Lego that market is huge. There’s a reason why it was declared in 2015 that Lego is a better investment than gold, because the return on your money was and is astronomical. From full, unopened sets to the broken down parts, there’s value in every brick. This is true especially in the minifigure market.
Lego Minifigures have fast become the most valuable commodity, due to their variation, their rarity and their range. Some minifigures only come in single, expensive sets, so to collect a whole team -- like the ones based on The Avengers or the Guardians of the Galaxy -- you have to buy multiple sets. Then there’s the rarest of them all: the Comic Con promotional minifigures. Here, CBR counts down the Most Expensive Marvel and DC Lego Minifigures!
16 BATMAN (2011 COMIC CON) - $213.75
People need to understand that if you’re going to release a limited edition Lego minifigure, then you have to start with Batman. There’s a reason he’s one of the most popular superheroes ever created, and driving the public crazy for a rare minifig is one thing, but driving them crazy for a Batman minifig is another. If he’s the first on our list though, it makes you wonder who could possibly be rarer.
This figure was one of the first promotional minifigures released by Lego for San Diego Comic Con, and it was used to promote the then upcoming Lego Super Heroes line of goods. This version of Batman comes with grey and black detail, a yellow utility belt and is packed onto a nifty San Diego Brick mock newspaper cover (“All the news that’s fit to build”).
15 GREEN LANTERN (COMIC-CON 2011) - $237.50
Along with Batman, this exclusive Green Lantern minifigure was one of the first promotional minifigs that Lego released exclusively to the crowds of San Diego Comic Con back in 2011. Used to promote the lego Superhero line that was coming out that year, Green Lantern was given away in a limited run of just 3000 (1500 to San Diego, 1500 to NYCC) and only then to lucky raffle winners.
Dependent on which version of the Con you attended, you were treated to a backing board in the style of a mock newspaper -- entitled the San Diego Brick or the New York Brick, naturally. The minifigure itself is highly detailed, and it would predate the release of Green Lantern in an official Lego set by a number of years, so this was the only real way of obtaining him.
14 STEVE ROGERS CAPTAIN AMERICA (SAN DIEGO COMIC-CON 2016) - $262.20
As such, this minifigure comes with a heater-shaped shield rather than his familiar round one, and further detailing on the front and back of the figure, including a chin strap, boot printing and armor detail. The figure came in a sturdy clam-shell case promoting what was then to be called the Lego Marvel Avengers video game.
Predating many of the familiar superheroes of today, Captain America made his debut in 1941, in a Timely Comics (the forerunner to Marvel Comics) publication titled, Captain America Comics. The character soon became a popular wartime superhero, taking on German and Japanese forces with patriotic vigor.
The release in 1944 of the Captain America movie serial made Captain America the first Marvel Comics character to exist beyond the pages of a comic book. In more recent years, Captain America has starred in many movies, as well as making cameo appearances in others.
In 2011, the character featured in Captain America: The First Avenger, then The Avengers in 2012, Captain America: The Winter Soldier in 2014, Avengers: Age of Ultron in 2015, Captain America: Civil War in 2016, Avengers: Infinity War in 2018, and Avengers: Endgame in 2019.
With his fame extending way beyond his beloved United States, Captain America has spawned a plethora of kids’ action figures and superhero toys, including a range of LEGO® sets that have proved a popular gift for kids of all ages.
Captain America (Steve Rogers), patriotic super-soldier and leader of the Avengers.
When a weak, young man called Steve Rogers received an experimental serum developed by the United States’ government to boost its effectiveness in World War II, he emerged as a super-soldier, boosted to the maximum of human strength and ability.
The Army called their enhanced combatant, Captain America. Soon, he became a one-man fighting force, determined to battle for freedom and justice. The character’s wartime experience made him a skilled commander and expert strategist. This gained him the respect of fellow superheroes, and made him the natural leader of the Avengers.
LEGO® Marvel Avengers 76123 Captain America: Outriders Attack
LEGO® Marvel Avengers 76123 Captain America: Outriders Attack lets young superheroes build Captain America’s motorbike and attack a group of 3 evil Outriders. This awesome buildable motorcycle toy features a minifigure cockpit, 2 shield shooters, detachable non-shooting blasters and an exhaust flame element.
Kids can detach the blasters and put them in Captain America’s hands, as they power into battle, recreating exciting scenes from the Marvel Avengers movies. A great gift for kids who love imaginative superhero role-play.
Captain America is a Marvel Studios minifigure that contains 10 pieces and was released as part of the collectable series in 2021. The LEGO set number for Captain America is 71031-5.
The value for a new and factory sealed Captain America is currently estimated at around 5,00 €. Captain America can be found for sale on the secondary markets at a price range between 4,00 € and 8,00 €.

Captain America Reviews
“ The mantle of Captain America is now held by Sam Wilson. But he hasn’t forgotten his roots of being the Falcon. His take on the Captain America outfit combines both heroes and is a great looking Minifigure. Falcon wings have been portrayed in many different ways and the . More wings here are great with a newly printed element combined with a couple of clip fins. The corner 2×2 tile used to create the Red Wing droid is quite clever. Sam also has a new hairpiece that blends nicely with the overall outfit. His accessory is an updated version of the iconic Captain America shield.”

Минифигурки 2015 Seattle Emerald City Comic Con.
C-3PO, Star Wars
Alfred the Butler.
Iron Man и Captain America.
Iron Man и Captain America.
The LEGO Marvel Infinity Saga line has been available for a while in most countries, but has just been recently released in North America. For Marvel fans, these sets provided an opportunity to get accurate minifigures based on past MCU movies – especially from Avengers: Endgame, which had a notoriously inaccurate first wave of sets.
So, if you’d like to get your hand on these brand new, excellent Marvel minifigures, read on to find out about every new LEGO Marvel Infinity Saga figure, and what sets they appear in!
Captain America
Captain America gets two figures in this Infinity Saga wave, the first of which is a relatively uninteresting Age of Ultron variant. This figure has a new torso that is almost identical to the 2015 version, but now comes with the head and molded helmet piece that is standard across all modern Cap figures. This figure appears in 76189 Captain America and Hydra Face-off, the cheapest set in the wave.
Might be discounted on Amazon or Amazon Australia
The other Captain America figure is more interesting, as this is the first time we’re getting Cap’s Endgame scale suit in LEGO form. While this figure shares its helmet, head, and unprinted legs with the Age of Ultron version, it has a new torso print that is pretty detailed. This version appears exclusively in 76192 Avengers Endgame Final Battle – a pretty great set if you ask me – and comes with his shield, Mjolnir, and an extra hairpiece.
Might be discounted on Amazon or Amazon Australia
Iron Man
Another minifigure in 76192 (and also in set 76237) is Iron Man, sporting his Endgame-era MK85 armour. This figure isn’t new – it appeared in the first wave of Avengers: Endgame sets – but now he comes with some fancy translucent blue blast pieces and an awesome stickered shield. He even comes with a hairpiece and the Nano Gauntlet!
Might be discounted on Amazon or Amazon Australia
The other Iron Man figure, which appears in 76190 Iron Monger Mayhem, takes us back to 2008 with the Iron Man MK3 suit. This is the first time this suit has appeared in LEGO form, and it looks great! As a bonus, LEGO included a full complement of Power Burst pieces for extra Iron Man blasting effects.
Might be discounted on Amazon or Amazon Australia
Pepper Potts
Also appearing in 76190 is Pepper Potts, and this is the fourth time getting this character in LEGO form. She reuses the same head print from her previous two figures, but now wears a black suit and has a short ponytail hairpiece.
Might be discounted on Amazon or Amazon Australia
Next is the mighty Thor, and this version of the God of Thunder appears in two sets – 76192 and 76193. His hairpiece is a dark tan version of the piece first introduced for Aquaman, and he comes with new double-sided head and torso printing. This figure comes with a flowing red cape and his axe, Stormbreaker.
Might be discounted on Amazon or Amazon Australia
Might be discounted on Amazon or Amazon AustraliaAnother version of Thor comes exclusively in 76200 Bro Thor’s New Asgard, which Jay reviewed recently. This figure has the same head and hairpiece, but comes with an awesome printed torso and legs which perfectly replicate the Bro Thor look from Avengers: Endgame!
Korg & Miek
Also exclusive to 76200 are Korg and Miek. This hilarious duo first appeared in 2017’s Thor Ragnarok, but this is the first time getting them in LEGO form. Korg is a regular LEGO minifigure with an awesome Hawaiian shirt print and dual-moulded arms, while Miek is a minifigure head stacked on top of two flower pieces.
Scarlet Witch
Wanda Maximoff gets a minifigure update in 76192 Avengers Endgame Final Battle, with a longer brown hairpiece, a new double-sided head print (later reused in the Marvel CMF series), new torso print, and a ton of awesome pink Power Burst pieces! This figure is based on her Endgame outfit, and I think it looks great – I just wish she came with a fabric skirt piece like the 2016 version (from 76051 Superhero Airport Battle) did.
Might be discounted on Amazon or Amazon Australia
Black Panther
The King of Wakanda appears in two sets – 76192 Avengers Endgame Final Battle and the more affordable 76186 Black Panther Dragon Flyer. This figure has an accurate black and purple color scheme to represent his suit being charged up with kinetic energy, but disappointingly, LEGO has neglected printing on his legs or his ‘ears’ piece.
Might be discounted on Amazon or Amazon Australia

Shuri
T’Challa’s younger sister Shuri also appears in 76186 Black Panther Dragon Flyer, and, like her brother, she has no leg printing. She does, however, get a great hairpiece, new head and torso prints, and a pair of vibranium gauntlets.
Might be discounted on Amazon or Amazon Australia
Ant-Man
Ant-Man gets an update in 76192 Avengers Endgame Final Battle, with an updated printed design on a 1×1 microfigure piece. Unfortunately, the regular minifigure version of this suit doesn’t appear in the Infinity Saga wave.
Might be discounted on Amazon or Amazon Australia
Captain Marvel
Captain Marvel gets an updated figure that’s accurate to her Endgame look, with a new short blonde hairpiece and red torso print. Her head is, however, reused from the 2020 version. This figure is exclusive to 76237 Sanctuary II: Endgame Battle, and comes with a set of orange Power Burst pieces.
Star-Lord
Moving on to the Guardians, we get a new version of Star-Lord exclusively in 76193 The Guardians Ship. This figure gets the Superman hairpiece in a nougat color, plus the new Chris Pratt head print and a new torso design. It’s also the first (but not the only) Star-Lord figure to get dual-molded boots.
Might be discounted on Amazon or Amazon Australia
Mantis
Mantis also gets an update for 2021, although it’s a relatively minor one – her torso print is new, while her hair, head, and legs are reused from 2017. This figure comes in 76193 The Guardians Ship.
Might be discounted on Amazon or Amazon Australia
Rocket Raccoon
Rocket is also updated in 76193, and this is the first minifigure Rocket to be based on a brown color scheme (the old ones had a grey skin tone). He gets some printed goggles on his head, along with a grey outfit and a printed red scarf.
Might be discounted on Amazon or Amazon Australia
Groot
Groot also gets an update in 76193, and, like Rocket, he also gets a new base color. Unlike the old Groot figures, which had a reddish brown color scheme, this one utilizes dark tan instead, and I think it’s more accurate. He gets great printing on his head, torso, legs, and toes.
Might be discounted on Amazon or Amazon Australia
Thanos
It wouldn’t be an Infinity Saga wave without the main villain of the Infinity Saga himself, Thanos! He gets an updated bigfig which is exclusive to 76192 Avengers Endgame Final Battle, and this new design for bigfigs actually has a removable head! This figure also has fairly detailed torso/leg printing, and a huge double-sided sword.
Might be discounted on Amazon or Amazon Australia
If bigfigs aren’t your thing, there’s a minifigure version of Thanos in 76237 Sanctuary II: Endgame Battle, which is also based off his Endgame outfit. He has new head, torso, and leg print designs, plus a golden helmet and a smaller double-sided blade.
Chitauri
A villain wouldn’t be able to comfortably enact his evil schemes without the help of some henchmen, so Thanos enlists the army of Chitauri to do his bidding! LEGO updated the Chitauri design in 2021 again, and this figure appears in three sets – 76186, 76192, and 76193. These figures get new head and torso prints, plus a variety of different gun designs across the set range.
Hydra Henchman
Another henchman figure is the Hydra henchman, who appears in 76189 Captain America and Hydra Face-off. He gets a new torso print, plus a grey beanie and a Chitauri gun.
Obadiah Stane (Iron Monger)
The final villain minifigure is Obadiah Stane, who pilots the Iron Monger mech suit in 76190. He gets a new head print, plus a dark blue suit. There’s no accessories though, as you’ll probably just leave him inside the Iron Monger suit most of the time.
Might be discounted on Amazon or Amazon Australia
That’s it for every LEGO Infinity Saga minifigure! What are your thoughts on the Infinity Saga range? Which figure is your favorite, and what sets do you plan to get? What other movies do you think deserve an Infinity Saga set in future? Comment your thoughts below!
