He knows that evil never sleeps. And if evil really does sleep, Clay is sure it is never more than a power nap. So now Clay is a teacher at the Knights Academy, training the next generation of NEXO KNIGHTS heroes. Clay expects a lot from his students and he is a hard teacher. Some of his knights in training say it is almost like he is made of stone. That is because fighting evil is no joke. Not with Clay as your teacher anyway. His pre-fight punchlines are just horrible.

Royal Soldier
The Royal Soldiers are obedient bots that follow orders and have a great sense of duty. They take pride in their jobs as soldiers, but they do prefer standing in long ranks at official ceremonies a lot more than being sent into battle against the monsters. They have basic sword skills, but unfortunately their best combat tactics is still holding their sword in front of them, while turning their face the other way and hoping for the best.

Queen Halbert is the perfect combination of a powerful fighter and a docile ruler. She is calm, collected and polite – so she can fulfill her official duties alongside her husband, the King. She is a very diplomatic and patient woman, constantly mediating between her husband and Macy when they get in their fights over Macy’s future. She loves her daughter and her husband deeply. Robin
Robin is the prime inventor, designer and builder for the NEXO KNIGHTS team. He is the master behind their Battle Suits, mechs and vehicles. His ingenuity is reaching new heights. Robin is still a student at the Knights Academy, but he is doing a year of ‘independent study’ – which means he is helping Merlok 2.0 build something amazing. Robin is a dedicated thinker and amazing builder. When he gets an idea you can be sure it will not be long before incredible inventions start rolling out of his workshop.

Axl is the giant muscle man on the NEXO KNIGHTS team. When he swings his huge battle axe, enemies tremble and tumble. But an axe is not the only thing that Axl swings. And he swings the controller in his attempts to beat Aaron at their newest video game. How does he swing everything so powerfully you ask? He works out and eats and eats and eats right.

Ava is an amazing programmer and the chief technician aboard the Fortrex. The whole NEXO Power project is the result of the combined powers of her and Merlok 2.0. Ava is focused and devoted to her work, not letting herself get distracted by things like small talk or hanging out with others. TAFK (Time Away From Keyboard) is the worst thing she knows and she is most comfortable when she is in her chair, telling Merlok 2.0 to focus and figuring out a serious technical problem in the middle of an enemy attack.

Nexo Knights is a fantasy-based Castle theme that was introduced in 2016 and ended in 2018. The theme is set on the realm of Knighton, and follows the adventures of five young Knights who battle to defend their home from Jestro, Monstrox, and his monster army.
The sets officially launched on January 2, 2016, although some of the sets came out as early in various stores as of late December 2015. Similar to the Ultra Agents, Nexo Knights features an app (now discontinued) that can be interacted by using physical LEGO pieces.
Like Ninjago and Legends of Chima, a TV series named Nexo Knights: The Animated Series was released on Cartoon Network on January 11, 2016, with a second season released on August 13 of the same year. A third and fourth season were released in 2017. In 2018, A fifth wave of sets was released and a fifth season was planned. However, the series was cancelled, the season was never released and the theme was discontinued.

Description
Nexo Knights is a fantasy-based Castle theme. Unlike its predecessors that contained typical medieval elements, usually with a fantasy theme, Nexo Knights gives those elements a futuristic look combining both technological and magical aspects. Like some previous castle themes, it features two factions, the heroes being the Knights, and the villains being magical evil creatures. The sets features Nexo powers that can be used on the Nexo Knights app.
Vehicles and structures used by the Nexo Knights features silver and blue as the primary colors and using orange for windows and holograms. The designs of the vehicles are based on medieval weapons, in the case of the main heroes the vehicles are based on their signature weapons.
In the case of the lava army, they feature brown as they primary color scheme with transparent orange bricks for the lava. The designs of the vehicles have monstrous aspects with white fangs and horns, and its weapons have lava designs.
The Ultimate armor sets includes one character with an exclusive design, and a set of accessories matching with the character's faction, and includes three Nexo Powers. Unlike Ninjago's Spinners or Chima's Speedorz, these powers are the first to feature in a video game linked to the show.
Story
Season 1
Just after the Knights Academy Graduation Ceremony, Jestro stole the Book of Monsters and attempted to destroy the kingdom. The 5 young graduates of the Academy; Clay, Lance, Macy, Aaron, and Axl will have to fight to save the kingdom. With the support of Merlok 2.0, Ava and Robin, the knights will go on a epic adventure.
Season 2
Even though the knights have managed to defeat Jestro and the Book of Monsters from the previous season, they have to find the Magic Books that were scattered across the kingdom before the bad guys could.
Season 3
It has been months since the destruction of the Book of Monsters. The knights have made lives for themselves. Clay is a teacher at Knighton Academy, Lance is a host for the Knighton News Network, Aaron is a stunt performer and Axl is a TV chef. On Princess Macy's part, she has been unsuccessful at getting each of the towns to be more defensive from future monster attacks. But all is not well. A storm is brewing over Knighton as Jestro tries to make amends with the people he has wronged to no avail. Monstrox has taken the form of a storm cloud and once again takes control of Jestro by zapping him with his evil lightning. Arriving at a fortress in Ghoulia, the Cloud of Monstrox raises an army of lightning-infused Stone Monsters. His first target is the new Lavalands Amusement Center that was established by Mr. Richmond on the property of the Lava Monster Army's former base. When Lance is overwhelmed by the Stone Monster Army, Merlok summons the rest of the knights. Meanwhile, Jestro and the Cloud of Monstrox go under the amusement park. When Jestro finds Monstrox's former Book of Monsters body, the Cloud of Monstrox tells him to hold onto it as he has grown attached to it. Jestro then uncover the staff that Monstrox used before he was split into different spellbooks.
Season 4
Jestro gains the idea to ambush the Fortrex in hopes of cheering up the Cloud of Monstrox unaware that the knights are at the party. Fortunately, Ava is able to restore Merlok 2.0 to the Fortrex and he is able to provide the Knighton Academy students with a Nexo power that allows them to fight back against the Stone Monster Army, forcing them to retreat (as they do not have the Cloud of Monstrox to reanimate them) much to the Cloud of Monstrox's amusement. Back at the party, Macy loses control Clay's battle suit forcing the Nexo Knights to pin it down. After the party, they reveal the truth about Clay to King and Queen Halbert and they agree not to mention it to the rest of the kingdom.
In the 2018 winter wave, Monstrox became a computer virus and sent tech infection monsters to attack the Realm of Knighton. No season of the television show was produced for this wave, because it was canceled.
Background
The adventure takes place in the medieval yet futuristic Kingdom of Knighton. It focuses on the Nexo Knights as they journey to defeat Jestro the evil jester, the Book of Monsters, and their lava monster army. Clay leads the Nexo Knights, which include Macy, Lance, Aaron, and Axl. Together, under their mentor Merlok 2.0, they band together to defeat Jestro! who becomes humbled and good again. Later, the evil cloud Monstrox comes and turns Jestro evil again by zapping Jestro with a lightning bolt that can turn anyone evil (or bring stone statues alive). Jestro and Monstrox then team up to fight the Nexo Knights again, this time with a stone army instead of lava. The Nexo Knights ultimately defeat Jestro, Monstrox and Ruina with Jestro becoming good once again.

Приключенческая история с использованием современных технологий, не похожая ни на что, с чем Вы были знакомы раньше! Королевство жило в мире и благополучии, пока в мире рыцарей будущего обезумевший королевский шут по имени Джестро не нашёл книгу монстров, с помощью которой захотел захватить власть. Теперь Королевство под угрозой. Только команда молодых храбрых парней сможет остановить его. Они – рыцари будущего, которые противостоят Джестро и его лавовым монстрам. У рыцарей есть все виды крутых гаджетов и транспортных средств для ведения борьбы.
Вас ждут уникальные детали, новое оружие и шлемы, а также впервые – новый тип минифигурки с увеличенным торсом. Выпускникам Академии рыцарей помогает цифровой маг Мерлок 2.0. Именно он, во время последнего нашествия монстров заточил их в магическую книгу, а сам, выйдя из реального мира, стал голограммой. Теперь главной задачей Мерлока является обучение рыцарей, доблестно защищающих Королевство и его столицу Найтонию. Среди его учеников особо выделяются пятеро супервоинов. Они образуют собой передовую оборонительную команду, оснащённую не только новейшим оружием, но и мобильной крепостью Фортрекс, способной быстро добраться до любой точки Королевства. Аксель – большой (во всех смыслах) любитель кулинарных шоу. Его широкие плечи и массивный торс заметны издалека. На первый взгляд может показаться, что этот гигант слишком медлителен и неуклюж. Но это лишь иллюзия. Аксель - Мастер топора, готовый сокрушить целую армию лавовых монстров.
Ланс – красавчик, обладатель белоснежной улыбки и ухоженных волос. Этот рыцарь сможет завоевать сердце любой прекрасной дамы, ведь он не только хорош собой, но и богат. С детства Ланс был окружён роскошью и самыми новыми гаджетами. Повзрослев, он обзавёлся боевой пикой и уникальным транспортным средством - Механическим конём, который никогда не подводил в боях и даже прославился, как воплощение мощи и скорости.
Аарон - весёлый парень, душа компании. Старается всегда быть в тренде. Любит хорошую музыку и экстремальные виды спорта. Необычайно пластичен и гибок, за что получил прозвище «Король акробатики». Во время сражений Аарон использует свой щит как летающий скейтборд, дающий значительное преимущество над противником. Также рыцарь не забывает применять свои уникальные навыки стрелка. С помощью бластерного арбалета он метко поражает цели, будь то тренировочные мишени или разрушительная машина Молтора – жестокого приспешника Джестро.
Мэйси – дочь короля, принцесса, которая хочет быть рыцарем и защищать Королевство. Несмотря на чисто женские штучки, такие как уход за причёской или неумолкающая болтовня по телефону, Мэйси стремится стать грозным воином, способным победить целую армию лавовых монстров. На пути к намеченной цели принцесса не только обзавелась доспехами ярко-красного цвета, но и вооружилась силовой булавой. Следует отметить, что новая серия условно разделена на две части. Это непосредственно наборы для сражений и подкатегория «Рыцари Абсолютной Силы», включающая в себя всех главных героев с боевыми аксессуарами. Кроме подробной сюжетной линии артикулы объединены главной идеей – собрать как можно больше щитов с уникальными NEXO-силами, отсканировать их и получить допуск к новому мощному технологичному оружию. NEXO-силы – это связь, которая соединяет классическое конструирование с виртуальной игрой. Общее число NEXO-сил составляет 170 единиц. Их можно найти повсюду: в игре, на TV, в магазине, на уличных рекламных постерах и, конечно, в самих конструкторах. Это то, что делает Нексо Найтс уникальным продуктом, связывающий физический мир и виртуальную игру. Nexo Knights was officially announced at 2015 New York Comic Con. The sets 70317 Fortrex and 70316 Jestro's Evil Mobile were displayed at the convention to help promote the new theme. The shows first episodes aired in mid December 2015 followed by the official release of the sets in January of 2016.
The story of Nexo Knights takes place in the Kingdom of Knighton, a futuristic, high-tech world. Nexo Knights follows five young knights in their quest to battle Jestro, his sidekick, the Book of Monsters, and their Monster Armies. Heroic knight, Clay Moorington, leads the band of knights, including alpha superstar Lance Richmond, hipster Aaron Fox, Macy Halbert, a princess who would rather be a knight, and Axl, the giant. Together, under the tutelage of Knights' Academy mentor and Great Digital Wizard, Merlok 2.0, they join forces to defeat the enemy.
Fifty total sets were released in 2016, including small ultimate sets and Jestro's Volcano Lair. Each set includes new Nexo Powers for the Nexo Knights app. The story that year involved the knights fighting Jestro's Lava Army over the magic books. Jestro would use these books to unlock more monsters.
In the 2017 story Monstrox, the spirit within the Monster Book of Monsters, emerges and creates a new stone army. Thirty Five sets released in this year show the knights gaining new sleeker armour and new vehicles. Nexo Power packs were introduced as a new way to get the collectible Nexo Power shields. Some key sets include Jestro's Headquarters and Knighton Castle.
In 2018 LEGO announced the discontinuation of the theme.

Building Sets and Consumer Products Fourteen richly detailed building sets will be available in January 2016, ranging in price from $9.99 to $99.99. Additional building sets will launch in August 2016. The first two sets are being revealed at New York Comic Con.
Consumer products partners across key categories are also engaged in creating a merchandise program dedicated to LEGO NEXO KNIGHTS, such as publishing and soft goods.
LEGO NEXO KNIGHTS: MERLOK 2.0 App To extend the story and increase playing fun, more than 150 unique LEGO NEXO KNIGHTS powers – represented as shields – have been scattered across the kingdom of Knighton. The powers can be found in building sets, online, in print and directly in the television content. Existing in both physical and digital form, children can discover, scan and collect varied powers using the LEGO NEXO KNIGHTS: MERLOK 2.0 app. Once added to a digital power collection, children can creatively and continuously find new ways to join the knights to defeat the enemy, in their gaming experience.
Available in late December 2015, the LEGO NEXO KNIGHTS: MERLOK 2.0 app will be available as a free download via App Store, Google Play, Samsung Apps and Amazon Appstore.
Television Series LEGO NEXO KNIGHTS, a 20-episode, animated adventure comedy series, will debut on select global broadcast television networks as soon as late December 2015 and air throughout 2016. The core means by which children follow the story and get to know the characters, the series follows the constant adventures of LEGO NEXO KNIGHTS heroes and villains. Children will also be able to scan new LEGO NEXO KNIGHTS powers directly from their content viewing screen into their app games, further connecting their play experience.
